34 U.S. Code § 12601 - Cause of action

''(a) Unlawful conduct

It shall be unlawful for any governmental authority, or any agent thereof, or any person acting on behalf of a governmental authority, to engage in a pattern or practice of conduct by law enforcement officers or by officials or employees of any governmental agency with responsibility for the administration of juvenile justice or the incarceration of juveniles that deprives persons of rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.

(b) Civil action by Attorney General

Whenever the Attorney General has reasonable cause to believe that a violation of paragraph (1)?[1] has occurred, the Attorney General, for or in the name of the United States, may in a civil action obtain appropriate equitable and declaratory relief to eliminate the pattern or practice''

This allows the AG to files civil charges against agents of law enforcement agencies.

Public Law 107 - 40 - Authorization for Use of Military Force

''The terrorist attacks of September 2001 created new complications for the separation of powers within the war powers sphere. After September 11, the United States Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force against Terrorists (AUMF). While the AUMF did not officially declare war, the legislation provided the President with more authority upon which to exercise his constitutional powers as Commander in Chief. As the U.S. Supreme Court explained in Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer, 343 U.S. 579 (1952) Presidential Commander in Chief powers increase when Congressional intent supports the actions taken by the Commander in Chief. The AUMF served as that expression of Congressional intent.

AUMF authorizes the President to use all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided in the Sept. 11 attacks."

(2)(B) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.''

Interesting tidbit I found:

Though the Supreme Court decided in Coker v. Georgia and Kennedy v. Louisiana that the death penalty was not allowed in cases of adult or child rape, the military court has no such provisions and the death penalty is allowed in both situations.

I think you are missing my point based on your question. Appeals as a matter of law are granted to each individual. My point was about every case that has previously been tried and convicted. They are all called into question. Every case tried by or touched by someone who has been proven corrupt is susceptible to be retried . What you seem to be talking about is more along the lines of a statute of limitations question.Each indictments ( if that is what we see in the 10k and I am not convinced) could hold numerous people. You can't bank on the 10k means 10k ppl. It could mean 5-10 Court proceedings for a few cases. Each case could have 100 , 1000. 1 million people. You can't make a definitive judgment based on docket numbers labeled sealed. You're confusing two things, anon.

First is the concept of "scare." Children get scared of things going on around them because they are powerless and lack perspective. Just because the children are scared of every storm doesn't mean there is less of a likelihood of a tornado being outside.

Said a different way - just because stupid people get scared there is an epidemic doesn't mean there isn't an illness afoot.

Second - the CDC willingly admits that the flu vaccine doesn't really help with the strain currently kicking our ass. That is, in part, why it is so severe. Thankfully, work is still fairly slow up at the factory - but we've seen it clean out entire departments for a week.

Areas are getting hit pretty hard by it. Perhaps there are just as many people getting the flu as who got the sniffles and called it the flu … but this one takes you out for a few days. I call it "Mexican Lung Herpes" for a reason.

You're ultimately going to believe what you want to believe - and in no way am I trying to tell you that you need to go out and get a flu vaccine. I don't get them, myself - as I don't believe in vaccinating against the flu outside of the elderly (if it really does any good…). They never seemed to do any good when I was in the military, either.

But there is certainly something to take note of. If you do start getting the bone shivers, get ready to be out for a few days - and have someone to check on you in the event it scored a critical hit on you and you need medical help.
