Can anyone give any information about his detention status?

Assange has a 'chequered past' to say the least. Intelligence asset for certain a few years ago. Hollywood movie as well! Now...I'm not so sure, best case scenario he is a convert...have him down in the 'unsure, tread with caution' pile.
