They tell us to stay inside our homes.
They shut down gun shops, a means to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
Then they release inmates, including violent criminals, to the public.
Sounds safe to me.
When are we all going to wake up.
Our government, no matter at what level, is supposed to have the same #1 priority:
Safety.
That includes keeping us safe.
An oath was sworn.
When words do no match actions, time and again, it should be clear they are lying.
But ego stands in the way and it's natural to have a hard time accepting that we've been duped.
That we've been lied to.
But deep down inside, some of us always knew that.
Some of us don't want to believe it.
This isn't Republican vs. Democrat.
It's not Right vs. Left.
This is Good vs. Bad
It's about doing the right thing, no matter who's looking, and even if it hurts you vs. doing whatever you wish with no responsibility.
Now some might say this is also Light vs. Dark.
The Lord vs. Satan.
And some might argue that the Lord doesn't provide us true freedom because He wants us to be good; whereas, Satan accepts us for who we are - as is - flaws and all - and that's true freedom.
Perhaps they both offer freedom.
Freedom to choose to be good or choose to be bad.
Being good takes constant work; being bad doesn't.
Take the hard way or the easy way.
Personally, I've always liked a challenge.
It's in my nature.
Builds character.
Provides important lessons.
As human beings we have an amazing capacity to change.
It's our choice.
We have more power than we know.
It's time to open our eyes.
Sheep no more.
