-This is a map of Arlington, Virgina in the USA near the Potomac River and Washington DC

-Used OpenStreetMap (older version) to edit or add data.

-2020 Map Data shows new buildings.

-Same for Google Maps on 03/21/20 (Construction takes time)

--Red dots = actual residential buildings and apartments in that area ; not businesses or streets

-Some adjacent streets have no red dots...

-Neighborhood is near Custis Trail (CT) and many other trails/parks (cover?) like the Heritage Trail (network?)

-CT crosses over the Potomac using the Francis Scott Key Bridge (neighborhood with access to DC)

My questions:

1.) His message says "new". What is new on an old map?

2. Coming together: what is forming what and why there?

3.) A "network" but of what and why there? (why just those houses?)

4.) Why is a former president of the USA (or whomever) using Open Street Map?
