ADL Head Jonathan Greenblatt Says He Made Deal With Elon Musk to Censor 'From The River to The Sea'

ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt told JTA on Monday that he praised Elon Musk for "fighting hate" despite his comments about Jews pushing "hatred against whites" because he made a deal with Musk behind the scenes to censor terms like "From the river to the sea" and "decolonization" as "calls for violence."

[Elon] Musk has been sparring publicly with the ADL for months, at one point blaming it for rising antisemitism and threatening to sue it for billions of dollars. Now, the latest whirlwind chapter in that saga [Jonathan] Greenblatt's quick shift from condemning to praising the billionaire social media mogul has created a whiplash moment for the Jewish world.

On Monday the State Department's antisemitism envoy suggested that she opposed Greenblatt's stance, while a member of one of the ADL's advisory boards called the about-face "embarrassing."

"The damage was done," Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt remarked about Musk's first tweet during a Monday briefing with Jewish media. "The endorsement of the Great Replacement theory was very harmful."

Lipstadt added that she disapproved of what she saw as any attempt to "mitigate" Musk's earlier tweet, without criticizing Greenblatt directly. "You can try to mitigate, but once you open the pillow, it's like chasing the feathers," she said.

How nice to have the State Department demanding an America's premier tech entrepreneur be punished for his speech.

Greenblatt told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency he didn't regret his praise for Musk. Praising people when they take what the ADL sees as the right steps, he said, is part of his job fighting antisemitism. Musk's tweet and his own praise of it, Greenblatt told JTA, came following a private conversation between the two men in which Musk previewed his vow to suspend users who call for violence.

"I will call out Elon Musk and X, like every other platform, when they get it wrong. And I will credit Elon Musk and X and every other platform when they get it right," Greenblatt said Monday. "One doesn't negate the other. It was not that, 'this happened, therefore that wasn't bad,' or 'that was bad, therefore we can't see the value in this.' Quite the contrary."

During their conversation, Greenblatt said, he did not press Musk for an apology for the post the billionaire wrote on Wednesday, which Greenblatt had called "indisputably dangerous."

Musk was replying to a user who wrote, "Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them. I'm deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest s- now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities [they] support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much."

Greenblatt joined a loud chorus in condemning that post. Other Jewish groups, including the American Jewish Committee, harshly condemned it. Later in the same thread, Musk went after the ADL itself, saying the group "push[es] de facto anti-white racism."

Greenblatt acknowledged the attacks on his group. "I don't take any of that personally," he said. Despite Musk's public attitude about the ADL, Greenblatt called their meeting "extremely promising."

Greenblatt noted that he believed Musk "still has work to do. He is not, if you will, in the clear."

But, he added, "We saw a change in what he said on Friday, and that was noteworthy." He said the ADL was buying ads on X, and in response to major firms suspending their ad spending, said companies "need to make their own decisions about where they want their brands to be placed."

He said, "I hope that the other social media companies follow X's leadership on this."

[...] "At the end of the day, I understand that everyone might not agree with what I did," [Greenblatt] said. But he told JTA that he wasn't concerned that his positions on Musk would harm the ADL's reputation.

"The ADL has been around for 110 years. We don't play for any particular team," he said. "Our job is to protect the Jewish people. I don't make the decisions I do based on how do I think this affects our, quote, 'reputation.' I do it based on, am I able to keep our community safe?"

Greenblatt has clearly shifted to playing the "Good cop" and is letting Deborah Lipstadt, the AJC and so on play the "Bad cop."

NSA Promotes Anti-White Racism Among Employees, Leak Reveals

A copy of the NSA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Glossary, published in May 2022, was recently obtained by The Daily Wire. The glossary defines 327 "social justice" terms and explicitly promotes Critical Race Theory (CRT) and LGBT ideologies.

It defines “settler colonialism” as enforcing codes of superiority such as “white supremacy.” Examples include “white European occupations of land in what is now the United States, Spain's settlements throughout Latin America, and the Apartheid government established by White Europeans in South Africa.”

“White fragility” is defined as a state in which “even a minimum amount of racial stress becomes intolerable, triggering a range of defensive moves [in white people].”

“These moves include the outward display of emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt, and behaviors such as argumentation, silence, and leaving the stress-inducing situation. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium. Racial stress results from an interruption to what is racially familiar,” the document says while citing Robin DiAngelo.

Ms. DiAngelo is the author of the book “White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk about Racism" and a later edition that is "Adapted for Young Adults.”

The term “racism (cultural)” is only defined in relation to white people or “whiteness,” which it claims is automatically deemed to be “better” or more “normal” than other racially defined groups.

“Racism (institutional)” creates “advantages for whites and oppression and disadvantage for people from groups classified as people of color.”

“Micro-invalidation” is the negation of the feelings or thoughts of a “person of color.” As an example, it says, “White individuals often ask Asian-Americans where they were born, conveying the message that they are perpetual foreigners in their own land.”

A “privileged group member” is said to be people belonging to the following groups—“Whites, men, owning class, upper-middle-class, heterosexuals, gentiles, Christians, non-disabled individuals.”

“Whiteness” is defined as a “broad social construction that embraces the white culture, history, ideology, racialization, expressions, experiences, epistemology, emotions, and behaviors, and reaps material political, economic, and structural benefits for those socially deemed white.”

China's state banks are buying yuan, quickening its rally

China's major state-owned banks have been active in the currency market this week, buying the yuan and helping hasten its recovery against a broadly weaker U.S. dollar, two sources told Reuters on Tuesday.

The big banks, which sometimes act on behalf of Chinese monetary authorities, have in the past year often sold dollars to slow the yuan's decline.

Their continued yuan-buying activity this week while the currency was already rising was a surprise to the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity as they are not authorised to speak to media about the matter.The yuan has gained 2% in the past week, to stand at levels of around 7.13 to the dollar - its highest in nearly four months.

The sources said the state banks seemed to be following their usual combination of swaps and spot market activity, and were seen exchanging yuan for dollars in the onshore swap market and selling those dollars in the spot currency market.

Their action over the past week came amid broad dollar weakness. The dollar index , which measures the currency's value against major trading partners, has retreated more than 3% in November, as U.S. yields succumb to signs of a peak in Federal Reserve monetary tightening. Some market participants said state banks might be trying to speed the yuan's gains and spur exporters to convert more of their FX receipts into yuan. The Chinese currency is still down more than 3% against the dollar this year.

The selling of dollars by state banks caused the onshore spot yuan to briefly touch 7.1296 per dollar, firmer than its daily official guidance for the first time in four months. The People's Bank of China (PBOC) has also been lowering the dollar-yuan daily fixing rate this week. On Tuesday, it set the midpoint at a 3-1/2-month low of 7.1406 per dollar. The PBOC has been injecting cash through its medium-term lending facility loans into the banking system, but has of late kept the rate on those loans unchanged.

LONDON (LifeSiteNews) – Hopes for British infant Indi Gregory’s right to life have again been dashed.

This afternoon Lord Justice Peter Jackson of the English Court of Appeal denied the application of Indi’s Italian guardian that the end-of-life case of the eight-month-old baby, who is now a citizen of Italy, be transferred to an Italian judge.He did not support the wishes of the Indi’s parentsthat the child, who has a rare mitochondrial disease, be cared for by the Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital in Rome.

Matteo Fraioli of Italy’s Pro Vita e Famiglia (For Life and Family) organization reported that Jackson “harshly” criticized the Italian intervention, sayingit was “not in … the spirit” of the Hague Conventionfor the protection of minors cited.

The UK’s Christian Concern added that Lady Justice Eleanor King and Lord Justice Andrew Moylan were also involved in the decision. Italian national broadcaster RAI published that the “judges had stated that the English courts are in the best position to assess the ‘best interests’ of the child, so there is no need for an Italian court.”

Pro Vita reported that Monday, November 13 had been set as the new date for the removal of the child’s life-sustaining treatment, but other reports state that this would happen on Saturday, November 11.

Indi’s parents’ fight for their child’s life against the wishes of the British National Health System (NHS) has caught the imagination of the Italian public, including mainstream Italian media, and Italian pro-lifers were quick to condemn the ruling.

“The obstinacy of the British judges in wanting to end the life of this little fighter despite the contrary medical opinion of the Bambino GesùHospital is something simply satanic,” Pro Vita e Famiglia tweeted.

Indi’s father, Dean Gregory, spoke for himself and the girl’s mother when he said, “Claire and I are again disgusted by another one-sided decision from the judges andthe [NHS] Trust. The whole world is watching and is shocked at how we have been treated.”

“Claire and I have always wanted what is in Indi’s best interests,” Gregory continued. “She has human rights and we wanted her to have the best treatment possible. If the UK did not want to fund it, why can she not go to Italy and receive the treatment and care which the amazing Italian Prime Minister and government [have] offered?”

“This feels like the latest kick in the teeth, and we will not give up fighting for our daughter’s chance to live until the end.”

Christian Concern reported that Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has written to the British Lord Chancellor asking that the two countries collaborate officially on “facilitating Indi’s transfer to Rome under the Hague Convention.”

LordJustice Jacksonhas made pronouncements on other high-profile end-of-life cases that resulted in the deaths of the sick people towhom British doctors no longer wished to give life-sustaining care.

With Sir Andrew McFarlane and Lady Justice King, he dismissed Archie Battersbee’s family permission to appeal a High Court judgment that ruled that the 12-year-old’s life-support should be withdrawn against their wishes. Archie died in August 2022.

With Lady Justice King, Jackson decided against arguments to allow an appeal of a ruling that artificial ventilation, nutrition, and hydration should be removed from a Polish Catholic man known to the British public only as RS. The middle-aged father died in January 2021.

In 2017, Jackson decided that a 50-year-old woman with Huntington’s disease should have her feeding and hydrating tubes removed so that she would die. After the hearing, the feeding tube was removed. The patient died that August, presumably of starvation.

Jackson’s decisions have also had a negative impact on the right-to-life of the disabled unborn. With Lord Justices Underhill and Thirwall, he ruled in 2022 against a woman with Down syndrome’s petition to have legislation repealed that allows unborn children suffering from disabilities to be aborted up until the moment of birth.

However, in 2019, he did decide with Lord Justie McCombe and Lady Justice King that a disabled woman, the daughter of a Nigerian Catholic, should not be forced to have an abortion.

The founder of General Motors-owned Cruise has stepped down less than a month after the driverless car company paused operations after an accident and the loss of permission to operate in California.

Kyle Vogt did not give a reason for his departure from the company that he started in 2013 before it was bought by the US automotive manufacturer General Motors in 2016.

San Francisco-based Cruise is seen as one of the most advanced autonomous driving companies in the world, and it had started charging passengers for journeys in some US cities. However, it paused all of its driverless cars on 26 October after California regulators revoked its licence to transport passengers without a driver after an accident on 2 October.

The company recalled nearly 1,000 vehicles to update their software after the incident.

Mary Barra, the General Motors chief executive, promoted Mo Elshenawy, who is executive vice-president of engineering at Cruise, to chief technology officer, after Vogt’s resignation, according to an internal email reported by TechCrunch.

In the email, Barra reportedly thanked Vogt for his “tremendous vision, passion and dedication over the past decade” and said the Cruise board “understands and respects his decision to resign as CEO”. Issue an open call for private statements from former OpenAI employees who resigned, were placed on medical leave, or were terminated during this period.

Protect the identities of those who come forward to ensure that they are not subjected to retaliation or other forms of harm.

We believe that a significant number of OpenAI employees were pushed out of the company to facilitate its transition to a for-profit model. This is evidenced by the fact that OpenAI's employee attrition rate between January 2018 and July 2020 was in the order of 50%.

Throughout our time at OpenAI, we witnessed a disturbing pattern of deceit and manipulation by Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, driven by their insatiable pursuit of achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI). Their methods, however, have raised serious doubts about their true intentions and the extent to which they genuinely prioritize the benefit of all humanity.

Many of us, initially hopeful about OpenAI's mission, chose to give Sam and Greg the benefit of the doubt. However, as their actions became increasingly concerning, those who dared to voice their concerns were silenced or pushed out. This systematic silencing of dissent created an environment of fear and intimidation, effectively stifling any meaningful discussion about the ethical implications of OpenAI's work.

We provide concrete examples of Sam and Greg's dishonesty & manipulation including:

Sam's demand for researchers to delay reporting progress on specific "secret" research initiatives, which were later dismantled for failing to deliver sufficient results quickly enough. Those who questioned this practice were dismissed as "bad culture fits" and even terminated, some just before Thanksgiving 2019.

Greg's use of discriminatory language against a gender-transitioning team member. Despite many promises to address this issue, no meaningful action was taken, except for Greg simply avoiding all communication with the affected individual, effectively creating a hostile work environment. This team member was eventually terminated for alleged under-performance.

Sam directing IT and Operations staff to conduct investigations into employees, including Ilya, without the knowledge or consent of management.

Sam's discreet, yet routine exploitation of OpenAI's non-profit resources to advance his personal goals, particularly motivated by his grudge against Elon following their falling out.

The Operations team's tacit acceptance of the special rules that applied to Greg, navigating intricate requirements to avoid being blacklisted.

Brad Lightcap's unfulfilled promise to make public the documents detailing OpenAI's capped-profit structure and the profit cap for each investor.

Sam's incongruent promises to research projects for compute quotas, causing internal distrust and infighting.

Despite the mounting evidence of Sam and Greg's transgressions, those who remain at OpenAI continue to blindly follow their leadership, even at significant personal cost. This unwavering loyalty stems from a combination of fear of retribution and the allure of potential financial gains through OpenAI's profit participation units.

The governance structure of OpenAI, specifically designed by Sam and Greg, deliberately isolates employees from overseeing the for-profit operations, precisely due to their inherent conflicts of interest. This opaque structure enables Sam and Greg to operate with impunity, shielded from accountability.

We urge the Board of Directors of OpenAI to take a firm stand against these unethical practices and launch an independent investigation into Sam and Greg's conduct. We believe that OpenAI's mission is too important to be compromised by the personal agendas of a few individuals.

We implore you, the Board of Directors, to remain steadfast in your commitment to OpenAI's original mission and not succumb to the pressures of profit-driven interests. The future of artificial intelligence and the well-being of humanity depend on your unwavering commitment to ethical leadership and transparency.

Nearly 150 sick in Salmonella outbreak affecting 11 countries

Eleven countries, including the United States, have recorded almost 150 Salmonella infections that could be linked to tomatoes.

Since January 2023, 149 cases of Salmonella Strathcona have been reported. Germany has the most patients, with 47, while Italy has 34. Most people fell sick between August and October.

The U.S. has eight cases. Six interviewed sick people had been to Spain, Italy, Croatia, France, and Slovenia. Four patients reported travel to Italy.

Austria has 17 cases, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom have 13, and France has nine. Other affected countries are Finland, Denmark, Luxembourg, and Norway.

Different age groups are affected with no significant difference between genders.

Interviews of 52 cases revealed 32 reported consumption of fresh tomatoes before disease onset. In addition, 25 had consumed eggs, and 24 reported eating cheese.

A teleconference occurred earlier this month with experts in EU countries, the UK, and the United States to discuss the ongoing investigations.

A re-occurring seasonal incident, Salmonella Strathcona is a rare serotype in Europe. In 2022, 89 cases were recorded. An increase was seen between 2018 and 2019 when 28 and 98 cases were reported.

Denmark investigated a multi-country outbreak of Salmonella Strathcona in 2011, where datterino tomatoes from an Italian producer were suspected of being the vehicle of infection. In total, 43 cases were reported in Denmark and 28 from Germany, Italy, Austria, and Belgium.

Since then, outbreaks have occurred in Denmark and Germany in 2019 and 2020.

The 2023 outbreak has isolates that are genetically closely related to cases reported since 2011, indicating a common infection source.

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) said the incident appears to be a re-emerging, seasonal outbreak.

“Microbiological evidence indicates a common source. Epidemiological and microbiological data indicate that the most plausible hypothesis of the vehicle of infection could be tomatoes, but this hypothesis needs further investigation.

“The risk for new infections remains as long as the seasonal deliveries of contaminated produce continue. New outbreaks will likely occur in future seasons until the contaminated vehicle has been identified, traced back and control measures implemented.”

A United Airlines pilot has been removed from service after social media posts surfaced showing the man expressing support for Hamas in the wake of the Palestinian terrorist group’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

Woman Convicted for Voter Fraud Scheme

A federal jury in Sioux City, Iowa, convicted an Iowa woman today for a voter fraud scheme during the Iowa 2020 primary and general elections.

According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, Kim Phuong Taylor, 49, of Sioux City, perpetrated a scheme to fraudulently generate votes for her husband in the primary election for Iowa’s 4th U.S. Congressional District in June 2020. After Taylor’s husband lost in the primary, he ran for Woodbury County Supervisor in the 2020 general election and Taylor again engaged in ballot fraud, causing absentee ballots to be fraudulently requested and cast. Taylor submitted or caused others to submit dozens of voter registrations, absentee ballot request forms, and absentee ballots containing false information. Taylor completed and signed voter forms without voters’ permission and told others that they could sign on behalf of relatives who were not present.

The jury convicted Taylor of 26 counts of providing false information in registering and voting, three counts of fraudulent registration, and 23 counts of fraudulent voting. She faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison for each count. A sentencing date will be set after a presentence report is prepared. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Acting Assistant Attorney General Nicole M. Argentieri of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, U.S. Attorney Timothy T. The classified cables also make clear that the major U.S. news media was mistaken in dumping the blame on Iran for the failed negotiations in 2009 and 2010 seeking a swap of some Iranian low-enriched uranium for nuclear isotopes. The cables reveal that those U.S. gestures were, in part, calculated to fail and thus to justify harsher sanctions against Iran.

According to the cables, key oil sheikdoms in the Persian Gulf were alarmed at comments from the newly elected President Barack Obama advocating a “new beginning” between the United States and Iran, including substantive negotiations on its nuclear program.

The United Arab Emirates deemed Obama’s reconciliation offers “confusing” and the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia said Obama’s position “fueled Saudi fears that a new U.S. administration might strike a ‘grand bargain’ [with Iran] without prior consultations.”

European governments also expressed misgivings about ambiguities in Obama’s position, prompting the new administration to dispatch Daniel Glaser, acting assistant secretary of the Treasury for terrorist financing and financial crimes, to a meeting in Brussels, Belgium, on March 2 and 3, 2009, involving many of Europe’s top Middle East experts.

Glaser explained that Obama’s “engagement” strategy with Iran was only the velvet glove covering an iron fist. “’Engagement’ alone is unlikely to succeed,” Glaser told the meeting, suggesting the overtures were merely necessary steps to justify a more aggressive strategy. Referring to the short time window for any talks, he added, “time was not on our side.”

Fashion giant Abercrombie & Fitch has suspended its annual $1 million annual bonus to disgraced former CEO Mike Jeffries in the wake of a bombshell BBC documentary which saw him accused by male models of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

In a statement to the BBC on November 21, the brand said that it had come to the decision to cease paying out the bonus. It was paid in addition to Jeffries' standard pension. At the time of his retirement his package was reported to amount to $27 million.

The documentary on the scandal aired on October 2.

The clothing brand has been accused in a new lawsuit of allowing Jeffries, 79, to run a years-long sex trafficking operation alongside his partner Matthew Smith.

On the same day that A&F announced that it would no longer pay Jeffries' bonus, the company raised its annual net sales growth forecast, signaling strong demand for its lifestyle brands heading into the crucial holiday shopping season.

In total, Abercrombie's shares climbed 220 percent in 2023. Also this month, the company added former Nike and Apple executive Arturo Nunez to its board.

Meanwhile, the lawsuit is being brought by alleged victim David Bradberry. His lawyer told the Wall Street Journal the company had a 'willingness to enable a sexually abusive and exploitative environment to drive profits'.

North Korea fires rocket, entry of payload into orbit not confirmed

North Korea on Tuesday launched a rocket after saying it planned to send a satellite into space, but the Japanese government said the projectile split into multiple parts after flying over the southern prefecture of Okinawa.

Pyongyang's official news agency said Wednesday it had succeeded in sending a spy satellite into orbit, but Tokyo said it has not confirmed whether the payload entered into space.

Japan lodged a protest via its embassy in Beijing over the launch, which violated relevant U.N. Security Council resolutions that ban North Korea's use of ballistic missile technology. The United States condemned North Korea over the flight of "a space launch vehicle."

North Korea notified Japan of its plan to launch a satellite during a nine-day window that commenced on Wednesday, but it fired the projectile before the start of the period.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said an assumed military satellite was launched in a southward direction from Tongchang-ri in North Korea's northwest at around 10:43 p.m.

No damage was reported in Japan as a result of the launch, Tokyo's top government spokesman, Hirokazu Matsuno, said.

One part of the missile fell into the East China Sea, some 350 kilometers off the Korean Peninsula, at around 10:50 p.m., while another piece dropped into the Pacific Ocean around 1,200 kilometers southwest of Japan's southernmost Okinotori Island at around 10:57 p.m., according to the chief Cabinet secretary.

Japan is still analyzing whether the launch has succeeded, according to Senior Vice Defense Minister Hiroyuki Miyazawa.

Japan's J-Alert warning system said that the missile apparently flew over the Pacific Ocean around 10:55 p.m. It issued a warning to residents in Okinawa to take shelter but lifted it a short time later.

"It is a serious situation in which the safety of our people has been endangered," Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters at his office.

"We have already sternly protested to North Korea and condemned the launch in the strongest possible terms," he said, adding that Japan will coordinate closely with South Korea and the United States in their response.

A former FEMA official whom U.S. Marines arrested in August was beaten to death at Guantanamo Bay, a JAG source told Real Raw News.

As reported on August 22, White Hats apprehended FEMA Deputy Administrator Erik Hooks after linking him to atrocities FEMA personnel committed against Hawaii citizens while Maui burned. Hooks was processed in South Florida and flown to GITMO on August 27. There, he refused to cooperate with interrogators and said that if JAG prosecuted him for fulfilling his appointed duties, he’d be a silent participant in all proceedings. His tribunal would’ve occurred on September 18–had he lived long enough to see it.

On September 13, a Camp Delta guard began clubbing Hooks with a baton after escorting him to the shower stalls, which have no security cameras. Hooks, handcuffed as the beating started, was struck twice on each kneecap before collapsing in a puddle of water. The unnamed guard then bludgeoned Hooks’ torso and face, as Hooks entreated the guard for mercy. Approximately two minutes later, with the guard mercilessly pounding Hooks, a second guard entered the stall and joined in the assault, kicking a prone and defenseless Hooks in the teeth. The guards’ unswerving desire to end Hooks’ life lasted several minutes, at which point one guard felt for a pulse and said, “Yeah, he’s gone.”

The guard who initiated the walloping immediately radioed the Master-at-arms, saying, “We need to surrender. We just killed detainee Erik Hooks. We did it for Maui.”

As medical staff zipped Hooks’ globular corpse inside a plastic bag, military police read the guards their rights and escorted them to an isolated cell at Camp Six, GITMO’s medium security holding block, replete with private showers, televisions, and communal areas.

Our source said GITMO leadership at once tried to muzzle news of the extrajudicial execution, fearing other undisciplined service members might enact vigilante justice—of which GITMO has seen its fair share—against Deep Staters in custody. However, word of the guards’ deeds spread faster than the truth about COVID-19 vaccines, and some at GITMO championed their actions and revered them for “taking out the trash.”

The guards, he added, confessed, detailed what they called “justifiable homicide,” as described above, and said they started planning to kill Hooks four days after he had arrived at GITMO.

“The guards wore body cameras and they captured everything. Per their sworn statements, Hooks would sit in his cell at night whispering just loud enough for the guards to hear him and bragging about all the people in Maui who died by his command. They said that even if JAG found Hooks guilty, a hanging was too good for him. So, they conspired to take matters into their own hands, knowing they’d be screwing themselves for it.”

Both guards had exemplary service jackets leading up to the killing, and neither had ties to Maui residents.

“The UCMJ is here for a reason; it guides us, and breaking it brings consequences. JAG has charged the guards with violating Article 118, murder, of the UCMJ. They knew they’d get caught and didn’t care. They entered a plea of not guilty by reason of Justified Homicide,” our source said.

As of this writing, a trial date has not been set, nor is it clear who will prosecute the case.

In closing, we asked the source why JAG gave the guards cozy accommodations.

“Obviously, we don’t want them around certain others,” he said.

Republican candidate Celeste Maloy has won a special election to the U.S. House of Representatives for Utah’s 2nd District, according to multiple reports.

The district had previously been represented for 10 years by former Republican Rep. Chris Stewart, who resigned from Congress on Sept. 15 due to his wife’s unspecified health concerns. Maloy, who served on Stewart’s staff and had received his endorsement, won the general election with 54% of the vote, defeating Democratic state Sen. Kathleen Riebe of the 15th District...

Maloy will join the 118th Congress to serve out the remainder of Stewart’s term, which was set to expire on Jan. 3, 2025, and will have to seek re-election to her seat in 2024 to remain in office for another term. Her entry will raise House Republicans’ narrow majority by one seat, to 222 members against the Democrats’ 213 members.

Attorney Dr. Reiner Fuellmich was arrested on Friday, 13 October. While trying to renew a passport he was detained at an embassy in Mexico and escorted back to Germany.

Attorneys Dagmar Schoen and Katja Woermer are defending Dr. Fuellmich. Dagmar gave an update to http://Bittel.tv on Friday to explain what had happened. The interview is in German, but Dr. Elsa Schieder, host of The Truth Summit, has listened to it and translated a portion into English for us.

The following is the translation provided by Dr. Schieder:

Reiner and his wife lost their passports and visas quite some time ago, needed to get them replaced. As they have been staying in Mexico, this led to their needing to go to the German embassy in Tijuana, Mexico. The first time they went, on Monday, they needed to come back. Dagmar was already uneasy, but everything seemed all right.

A time was arranged, for Friday, for them to pick up the documents. So, the embassy knew exactly when they would be arriving.

When they went back on Friday, Reiner’s wife got her documents and was allowed to go. Reiner was arrested. He had nothing with him, only the clothes he was wearing. No toothbrush, even.

A warrant for his arrest had been issued in March. A second warrant was issued in May. One was from Germany and the other from the EU. Obviously, he was not informed.

As Reiner was in Mexico, which is outside the jurisdiction of the EU, the warrants could not be enforced.

So there needed to be a way to get him onto German soil.

Reiner’s needing a new passport and visa gave those who wanted him arrested the perfect opportunity.

When he entered the embassy on Friday, there were 6 men waiting to detain him, take him to the airport, escort him to Germany.

The charges, as Dagmar found out when she had the official papers opened, were 30 pages long – so this was something carefully planned and executed.

They related to allegations of Viviane Fischer, a former team member on the Corona Committee, about financial wrongdoing.

Three people signed the charges against Reiner.

Perhaps the craziest aspect of the charges is that the money Reiner allegedly took is in the bank account (or anyway, was in the bank account) of one of the 3 people.

Influential Christian conservative Bob Vander Plaats suggested Monday that Republicans have to move on from Donald Trump if they want to win back the White House.

“If we’re gonna have a conversation about what happened in the past, or vengeance about what happened in the past, versus a compelling vision for the future, we’re gonna get beat in 2024,” the CEO of the conservative Family Leader organization in Iowa told “The Hill on NewsNation.”

“I think America is exhausted by it. I think they’re tired of it,” the evangelical leader continued, appearing to reference Trump’s ad nauseam attempts to relitigate the 2020 election. “I think they want to turn the page to the next generation leader, someone who’s got a compelling vision that might unite America around things that actually bless America.”

The Iowa caucuses would be a chance for Republican front-runner Trump and his rivals to make their cases, said Vander Plaats, who didn’t rule out a pivot from the former president that could change his mind.

But Trump’s desire to downplay what he’s dubbed “the abortion issue” is a “huge problem,” said Vander Plaats, responding to Trump’s suggestion that Republicans underperformed in the 2022 elections because of their championing of far-reaching restrictions.

Vander Plaats said Trump “could take a victory lap by just saying, ‘Hey, look, I’m the guy who gave you three Supreme Court justices that overturned Roe v. Wade,’ but instead he then alienates himself from the pro-life community by saying, ‘You’re the reason we didn’t do better in 2022,’ instead of saying, ‘Listen, wherever my fingerprints were in 2022, we did dismally.’”

The “pro-life community expects better than that,” Vander Plaats added. “That’s why I think the Iowa caucus door has flown wide open for people to take a look at who should be our nominee.”

Vander Plaats endorsed former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee in 2008, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum in 2012 and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in 2016, passing on Trump that year after the then-reality television personality chose not to attend a forum hosted by his organization.

Once Trump won the GOP nomination, though, Vander Plaats said he’d vote for him but was “not going to be a lapdog.” Evangelical voters played a key part in Trump’s 2016 victory.

According to records, the Family Foundation INC is located in Urbandale, Iowa.

Since the payout from team DeSantis, Vander Plaats has been attempting to steer Iowa evangelical Christians in the direction of Ron DeSantis using horrific and untrue attacks against 45th President Donald Trump and his supporters.

Vander Plaats has been pushing the debunked lie that Ron DeSantis is the only GOP candidate that can win the general election. Current polling shows the opposite of what Vander Plaats is claiming. Trump is currently the only GOP candidate that holds a wide lead over Biden.

Over the weekend, Vander Plaats shared a photo with him and Ron DeSantis in a church in Iowa. In the caption, Vander Plaats attacked Trump with a debunked lie that Trump mocks people with disabilities.

The Georgia judge overseeing the election subversion case against former President Donald Trump and others said Tuesday he plans to modify the bond conditions for one of the defendants after prosecutors complained about his social media posts that mentioned witnesses and co-defendants.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis made a rare appearance in the courtroom to argue for the revocation of the bond of Harrison Floyd, who was a leader in the organization Black Voices for Trump. The city of Charleston, South Carolina has just elected a new mayor. William Cogswell has been elected as the first Republican mayor of the city since the 1800s, if you can believe it.

WCBD News reports:

William Cogswell elected mayor of Charleston

Voters in Charleston have chosen former State Representative William Cogswell to lead the city as its next mayor.

Unofficial results from the South Carolina Election Commission show Cogswell defeated incumbent John Tecklenburg, earning about 51 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s runoff election.

“The people have spoken and we’re ready, we’re ready for a new direction,” Cogswell said at his watch party in downtown Charleston shortly after declaring victory. “I am humbled by the results, no doubt. I am excited about the future of our city.”

The pair advanced to a runoff after neither earned enough votes to win outright in the Nov. 7 municipal election.

Tecklenburg, who was seeking his third term in office, conceded the race late Tuesday.

The last Republican mayor of Charleston was George I. Cunningham who left office in 1877.

After the unmitigated disaster of the Summer Counteroffensive in the ground, and against the background of his covert struggle against Commander in Chief Valery Zaluzhny, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has launched a ‘PR counteroffensive’ of sorts.

The wartime leader is trying to put up a brave face, convince the world’s public opinion that he is control of things, and guarantee a continuation of the military and humanitarian support for his country.

In a new interview, Zelensky has ‘shrugged off’ what he called ‘repeated Russian attempts to assassinate him’, and assured the world that the will of Ukraine to defeat Vladimir Putin’s Russia remained strong. ‘We are ready to stand further’.

New York Post reported:

“Speaking at his fortress Kyiv headquarters, Zelensky admitted he had lost track of all the attempts to kill him since Russia unleashed a full-scale invasion on Feb. 24 last year. He said: “The first one is very interesting, when it is the first time, and after that it is just like COVID.

‘First of all, people don’t know what to do with it and it’s looking very scary. “And then after that, it is just intelligence just sharing with you detail that one more group came to Ukraine to [attempt] this’.

But when British and US officials offered to spirit the president out of the capital — amid fears it could fall within hours — he replied with the legendary line: ‘I need ammo, not a ride’.

Almost two years later, Zelensky said Russia still ‘wants very much’ to topple him from power.

Once again, Zelensky denied what General Zaluzhny wrote, and what the whole world knows: the the Ukrainian offensive bogged down in a stalemate. He said: ‘In the morale, there is no stalemate’ – whatever that means.

“We are at our home. Russians are on our land. Therefore there is no stalemate in this. As regards the sky, there is no stalemate. Russians have more power in that. And really, how to move forward when you can’t control the sky?”

Ukrainians were weary of war, but have no appetite to sue for peace, since they ‘do not believe that Putin nor Russia, we do not believe that they want to finish the war’.

Newsweek reported:

“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that his country has every right to kill his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin if the opportunity arises, if doing so would protect Ukraine and his people.

‘That’s war, and Ukraine has all the rights to defend our land’, the Ukrainian leader said when asked if Kyiv would take a chance to assassinate Putin if such an opportunity arose.”

The Kremlin downplayed Zelensky statements in their response.

“‘There have been verbal attempts on Putin’s life many times from Ukraine. At various levels. We are well aware of this. And they will not succeed in anything’, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

‘We have no doubt that all the goals and objectives of the special military operation will be achieved’, Peskov said.”

£47 million investment to supercharge space infrastructure across the UK

The Space Clusters Infrastructure Fund (SCIF) has awarded more than £47 million for 12 projects which will be doubled by match funding from the sector, representing over £98 million of new private/public investment in space research and development infrastructure. Further projects will be announced in the coming weeks.

Not only will the funding support the growth of UK space businesses and create new jobs, but it will enhance the UK’s offering of space capabilities and services to international investors and major space players. SCIF funding builds upon investment the UK Space Agency has made to develop the UK space ecosystem; building and connecting clusters of space capabilities across the country which create the environments for businesses to start-up and flourish. These clusters will help SCIF projects connect to local talent and supply chains and ensure the benefits of this investment are shared across the UK.

Minister of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, Andrew Griffith, said:

Making Britain a space superpower means backing brilliant ideas up and down the land and harnessing the full potential of talent in our growing sector – from Dundee to Newcastle, Cornwall to Snowdonia.

By investing with the private sector in research and facilities across the UK, we are ensuring they become home to global industries that support the growth of our £17.5 billion space sector, create hundreds of new jobs and build dynamic businesses across the UK.

Dr Paul Bate, Chief Executive of the UK Space Agency, said:

Our space sector has been concentrated in London and the South East, but in recent years we’ve seen the emergence of vibrant clusters across the whole of the country. The Space Clusters Infrastructure Fund highlights the government’s commitment to space and will help deliver the goal set out in the National Space Strategy to build one of the most innovative and attractive space economies in the world, developing new skills and creating jobs.

Northumbria University will use £10 million of SCIF funding to develop the North East Space Skills and Technology (NESST) centre in the heart of Newcastle, providing jobs and investment to the area and delivering services that will allow companies to make their space products mission-ready, accelerating their entry into commercial markets. The increased capabilities will help position the UK as a global leader in optical satellite communications, space weather and space-based energy.

Almost £8 million will go to Cardiff-based Space Forge for a National Microgravity Research Centre, for advanced material research and production. Alongside the development of centre tooling and open access facilities for customers, the centre will create a central space hub for the growing Welsh space sector.

Magdrive will use just under £2 million to build a state-of-the-art Electric Propulsion facility in the UK. The DEEP Lab (Disruptive EP) will meet the growing demands of small-satellite Electric Propulsion (EP) serving as a cornerstone for EP development, enabling rapid development and testing of EP solutions, integration of EP technologies into a wide range of space missions, and the development of innovative manufacturing approaches to meet the assembly, testing and cost reduction needs of modern satellite constellation missions.

The government has previously invested in space infrastructure such as the National Satellite Test Facility (NSTF) and National Space Propulsion Test Facility on a case-by-case basis. The NSTF, due to open later this year in Harwell, features the UK’s largest vacuum test chamber, where satellites the size of a double decker bus will be exposed to extremes of hot and cold for months at a time, and a vibration facility that replicates the conditions of a rocket launch. The National Space Propulsion Test Facility in Westcott allows UK organisations to test state-of-the-art engines which move small satellites in space, at a more affordable rate than having to go abroad.

Hunter Biden is accused of soliciting tens of millions of dollars from foreign clients for access to his father

Some 60% of Americans think that President Joe Biden “helped and participated in” his son Hunter’s foreign business dealings, according to a Harvard/Harris poll published on Monday. Republican lawmakers are currently investigating Biden’s alleged influence-peddling, and will soon decide whether to impeach the president.

According to the survey,81% of Republicans, 39% of Democrats, and 59% of independentvoters agreed that “Joe Biden helped and participated in Hunter Biden's business.”

The president and his son both scored low favorability ratings in the survey, with 55% of respondents having an “unfavorable” or “very unfavorable” view of Hunter Biden, and 48% holding the same view of his father.

Reports of President Biden’s involvement in his son’s dealings first surfaced before the 2020 election, when the New York Post published files from Hunter’s laptop suggesting that businesspeople from China, Ukraine, Russia, and other countries, paid Hunter for access to his father during the elder Biden’s time as vice-president of the US.

Hunter’s former business partner, Devon Archer, told a Congressional hearing in July that Hunter’s position on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy firm, was given to him solely to guarantee that the company would have influence over US policy. Archer also alleged that Joe Biden dined multiple times with Hunter’s clients, and that Hunter received money transfers immediately after at least two of these meetings.
