Of all Donald Trump’s conspiratorial obsessions, perhaps one of the most dangerous has been his long promotion of the much-debunked theory that vaccines cause autism.

For years, his distrust of vaccines had been an occasional curiosity of his Twitter feed, nestled between bromides against Rosie O’Donnell and boasts about his ratings on “Celebrity Apprentice.” “Healthy young child goes to doctor, gets pumped with massive shot of many vaccines, doesn't feel good and changes - AUTISM. Many such cases!” he tweeted in March 2014. “I am being proven right about massive vaccinations—the doctors lied. Save our children & their future,” he wrote months later.

Then, during a Republican primary debate in September 2015—well before anyone really thought he could be America’s next president—Trump brought his vaccine beliefs to the national political stage. “You take this little beautiful baby, and you pump—I mean, it looks like just it’s meant for a horse and not for a child,” he said. “We had so many instances, people that work for me, just the other day, 2 years old, a beautiful child, went to have the vaccine and came back and a week later got a tremendous fever, got very, very sick. Now is autistic.”

Each time his beliefs have come up, journalists and the medical and scientific community have dutifully noted that Trump is wrong—the evidence clearly shows no link between vaccines and autism. Now, Trump is going to be the president of the United States, and doctors and scientists are raising the alarm about the potential consequences of having a man in charge of the country’s public health system who dabbles in discredited scientific theories.

Those concerns only grew on Tuesday, when Trump met with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an environmental lawyer who has long been immersed in those discredited theories. Kennedy told reporters at Trump Tower that he was responding to a summons by the president-elect. His goal in meeting with Trump, he said, was “to make sure we have scientific integrity in the vaccine process for efficacy and safety of vaccines.”

After eight years of nonstop persecution—one groundless impeachment and phony indictment after another—one can understand why President Trump would label the leaders of the Democrat Party a bunch of “Marxist lunatics.” “The Radical Left Democrats … these communists and fascists think that they can control our glorious country,” said Trump recently.

Radical Left, Marxists, communists, fascists … is this political hyperbole? Or is it an accurate description of the Nancy Pelosis, the Merrick Garlands and, yes, the Joe Bidens and Barack Obamas who control the Democrat Party and carry out its policies?

Few would deny that Marxism, in both its economic and cultural variants, is now the party’s governing paradigm. Consider the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which includes 100—nearly half—of the Democrat Party’s representatives in the House. The CPC advocates for:

“A universal health care system”—government-run healthcare, with its long waiting lines and accompanying shortages.

“A crackdown on corporate greed”—using higher taxes and more regulation to throttle private enterprise.

“Humane immigration policies”—an open borders policy that the Biden administration has already wholeheartedly endorsed.

“Reparations”—cash payouts/payoffs to a major Democrat voting block for injustices ended over 160 years ago.

Further underlining the CPC’s radical character, its elected leaders are radical Left Reps Pramila Jayapal and Ilhan Omar. Nancy Pelosi called Jayapal “a rising star in the Democratic caucus,” while arch-Progressive magazine, The Nation called her “a leader of the resistance.” As far as Omar is concerned, all you need to know is that her “idol and lifelong inspiration” is America’s most widely known communist, Angela Davis.

After giving the northern Gaza strip an evacuation ultimatum on Friday, Israel has so far withheld from launching a "significant" ground operation, with some speculating that requests from the US to evacuate all US citizens out of Palestine ahead of the invasion is what is holding Israel back. Meanwhile, Iran’s foreign minister on Saturday said that if Israeli “war crimes & genocide” are not stopped, the war might expand to other parts of the Middle East if Hezbollah joins the battle, and that would make Israel suffer “a huge earthquake.” Meanwhile, Axios reported that Tehran has sent Jerusalem a message through the UN that it will intervene if the campaign in Gaza continues, and particularly if it launches a ground offensive.

This was followed by news Sunday morning that the US has been backchanneling with Iran in recent days to warn against escalating the conflict in Israel (after all, Biden can't afford to lose those sanctioned Iranian oil exports whose re-embargo would promptly send the price of oil above $100).

Another reason why Israel may be waiting: the Pentagon confirmed that it has ordered a second carrier strike group to the eastern Mediterranean Sea after a first carrier strike group, led by the USS Gerald R. Ford, arrived off the coast of Israel last week.

Israel has called up a record 300,000 reservists and has been pounding Gaza after the unprecedented incursion in which more than 1,000 Hamas fighters swept across the border and attacked Israeli military posts, bases and settlements. More than 1,300 Israelis died, mostly civilians, and up to 150 people were abducted and taken into Gaza. More than 1,900 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli bombing campaign as fears mount of major casualties once Israel sends troops into the crowded coastal strip, home to 2.3 million people. Israel on Friday gave 24 hours for more than 1 million Palestinians to evacuate their homes in Gaza.

My mental narrative*:

Starting Left to Right, we see the day starts with a Scavino post that is pro-Israel, anti-terrorist and cites God & death.

Netanyahu with his hand over his blazer. For sake of argument, I’m comparing this to the, “hidden hand” gestures we’ve seen in the past.

Then 16 minutes later we get an image of of the Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah with a clear image of his Blood stone ring (I’ll assume you’re familiar with the Podesta, Oprah & Schwarznegger versions).

And finally we get the final clarifier – the post from Trump: IStandWithIsrael #ISandWithBibi

Trump is letting us know there is a relationship of ISIS to Bibi, but that he (DJT) is standing with Bibi. By default, that means Bibi is standing with Trump – Bibi can’t say, “no you don’t” as Trump has wide popular support in Israel.

And if I’m right about the “hidden hand”, Bibi is signaling that he is no longer following orders of the death cult - ergo, he really is with Trump – who did, “Destroy ISIS”

And finally, 47 minutes after #IStandWithBibi Trump posts again about defeating ISIS

Capt. Daniel Reynolds graduated from the U.S. military’s Ranger School this week, becoming the first Space Force Guardian to earn a Ranger tab. He is effectively the military’s first “Space Ranger.”

Reynolds was awarded his Ranger tab on Friday, Oct. 13. At the graduation ceremony, Capt. Reynolds was presented the Ranger tab by his father, Army Col. John Reynolds, himself a Ranger.

Reynolds is the first of likely many more Guardians to earn the tab in the service’s future. Reynolds isn’t going to be traipsing around outer space with a ray gun like Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon, but instead he’s helping test Space Force’s satellite communications capabilities. He currently serves as a test director with 4th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Space Delta 12.

In Space Force’s short history Capt. Reynolds has emerged as a leader in the service’s achievements.

In May 2021, he became the first Guardian to graduate from the U.S. Army Air Assault School. In April 2022, he became the first Guardian to graduate from the 28-day-long Sapper Leaders Course, becoming the first Sapper in the Space Force.

As for why an aerospace engineer need the kind of skills Sappers and Rangers have, Reynolds touched on it after finishing the Sapper course.

“One of the worst things that we can do as a service is to exclude the warfighter from the engineering process,” Capt. Reynolds said in 2022. “As we move forward, it is imperative that the space test community understands their needs, wants, and concerns; their frame of reference is of the utmost importance in fielding increasingly advanced space systems.”

To earn his Ranger tab, Reynolds took part in a Ranger Assessment Course with 30 other service members. The course included 15 soldiers and 15 airmen, while he was the sole representative of the military’s newest branch. For more than 60 days he and the others were put through the grueling training process. During the course, he told the Air Force that the training helped him get a real sense of what troops deal with in the field and how they utilize tools such as satellite information.

“At courses like this we take individuals who are working in space, and we get them together with individuals who are the tip of the spear, executing these missions, engaging the enemy face-to-face,” Reynolds told the Air Force in August. “That’s where we learn how to design better systems and capabilities.”

Many Guardians were formerly airmen with the U.S. Air Force, split off when the service’s space duties were transferred to the military’s newest branch.

Reynolds joined the Air Force Academy in 2013, graduating in 2017. He initially trained as a test pilot, but switched to becoming an aerospace engineer with the formation of Space Force, transferring over to the branch in February 2021. He earned a Masters of Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019.

In addition to his Ranger tab, Reynolds also received the Officer Leadership Award for his Ranger class.

FBI Director Christopher Wray Issues Grave Warning of Imminent Terror Attacks on American Soil Amid Israel-Hamas Conflict

In an address to the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference in San Diego, California on Saturday, FBI Director Christopher Wray issued a dire warning about the rise of violent extremism, both domestic and international.

The warning comes amid ongoing conflict between Israel and the militant group Hamas, which has already claimed thousands of lives, including 29 Americans.

“Before I get into some of the specific ways we’re doing that work together, I want to take a moment to offer my heartfelt condolences to the people of Israel, and share the outrage that I know we all feel at the sheer brutality and disregard for innocent lives there,” said Wray.

“History has been witness to antisemitic and other forms of violent extremism for far too long. Whether that be from foreign terrorist organizations, or those inspired by them, or domestic violent extremists motivated by their own racial animus, the targeting of a community because of their faith is totally unacceptable,” he added.

“We remain committed to continue confronting those threats—both here in the United States and overseas.”

Wray indicated that there has been a significant uptick in reported threats following the attacks, cautioning the public to remain vigilant for “lone actors.”

“In this heightened environment, there’s no question we’re seeing an increase in reported threats, and we’ve got to be on the lookout, especially for lone actors who may take inspiration from recent events to commit violence of their own.

“So I encourage you to stay vigilant, because as the first line of defense in protecting our communities, you’re often the first to see the signs that someone may be mobilizing to violence. And I’d also ask you to continue sharing any intelligence or observations you may have. And on our end, we’re committed to doing the same, so that together, we can safeguard our communities,” he added.

This isn’t conspiracy stuff, nor impossible “4th dimensional chess”—it’s just plain, old 2-dimentional chess. That’s all.

Hamas, al Qaeda, and similar groups slaughter civilians—beheaded babies or not, they certainly murdered hundreds and hundreds of innocent, civilian Israeli non-combatants in this one (including an extended family member of mine) just as they slaughtered thousands on September 11—for a reason, not simply because they are angry or devils. It’s a tactic. They are trying to provoke a reaction.

They are trying to make you angry, to make you hate, even drive you crazy. Yes—yes—for the purpose of making the more powerful force (i.e. the United States, Israel) do even worse to their own people, such as getting the U.S. to invade Afghanistan and getting Israel to bomb the Gaza strip. Not that al Qaeda was from Afghanistan, but that’s where they were and that’s who they knew were gonna get it. (Also, by the way, U.S. support for Israel’s crimes in Palestine and Lebanon was a huge part of the motive for al Qaeda’s war against the United States in the first place, including for some of the most important pilot hijackers and organizers of the plot.)

This is then meant to provoke still further counter-reactions. It “heightens the contradictions” as the commies used to say. It forces leaders of Muslim states and armed groups everywhere to take a stand. It destroys stability and negotiations and progress, radicalizes new groups and forces everyone back into the fight on one side or the other. It makes every sock-puppet princeling of the Gulf take a stand in support like the Ayatollah or sell out in silence in the most embarrassing way, like Crown Prince bin Salman, etc.

It’s the same reason Bosnian Muslim forces butchered Serbs and Chechen Muslim forces butchered Russians and ISIS slaughtered Shi’ites: to provoke a worse crisis for everyone in the hopes that the overall situation changes to their advantage.

DarkGate malware spreads through compromised Skype accounts

Between July and September, DarkGate malware attacks have used compromised Skype accounts to infect targets through messages containing VBA loader script attachments.

According to Trend Micro security researchers who spotted the attacks, this script downloads a second-stage AutoIT script designed to drop and execute the final DarkGate malware payload.

"Access to the victim's Skype account allowed the actor to hijack an existing messaging thread and craft the naming convention of the files to relate to the context of the chat history," Trend Micro said.

"It's unclear how the originating accounts of the instant messaging applications were compromised, however is hypothesized to be either through leaked credentials available through underground forums or the previous compromise of the parent organization,"

Trend Micro also observed the DarkGate operators trying to push their malware payload through Microsoft Teams in organizations where the service was configured to accept messages from external users.

Teams phishing campaigns using malicious VBScript to deploy DarkGate malware were previously spotted by Truesec and MalwareBytes.

As they explained, malicious actors targeted Microsoft Teams users via compromised Office 365 accounts outside their organizations and a publicly available tool named TeamsPhisher. This tool enables attackers to bypass restrictions for incoming files from external tenants and send phishing attachments to Teams users.

"The goal is still to penetrate the whole environment, and depending on the threat group that bought or leased the DarkGate variant used, the threats can vary from ransomware to cryptomining," Trend Micro said.

"From our telemetry, we have seen DarkGate leading to tooling being detected commonly associated with the Black Basta ransomware group."

According to military analysts, the ground attack that Israel is expected to launch has the characteristic of an asymmetric threat, due to the extensive tunnels that exist under the Gaza Strip.

Underground passages in Gaza are home to weapons caches, Palestinian fighters and possibly Israeli hostages. Some were destroyed by the IDF, but rebuilt over time. And if it was initially smuggled through the galleries, now it has turned into a real military tool for the Palestinian armed groups. It has heavy armament, including guns, missiles and lots of ammunition.

The surprise attack on Saturday, October 7, in the early hours of the morning, on Israeli soil by thousands of Hamas terrorists proved this. The terrorists of the Palestinian Sunni organization crossed the tunnel with ease.

And while the Israeli army prepares for a major offensive in the Gaza Strip, the underground network could seriously harm the troops of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Arrays of rocket launchers hidden a few meters deep can emerge from a hatch system to detonate and disappear again.

The Israeli army had bombed the Gaza metro in 2021, but part of this network remains unknown to Tel Aviv authorities, which makes its operations difficult.

Hamas "knows its tunnels inside and out," Colin Clark, director of research at the Soufan Center in New York, told AFP.

The tunnels in the tunnel, as the French publication explains, are of different height, width and complexity.

They were originally built to transport contraband products such as cigarettes, milk, clothes, car parts, etc. from Egypt. These underground passages were closely monitored by the Palestinian Authority security services who had blocked access.

The opening of the tunnels is done in a complex way and is a real operation managed exclusively by Hamas, as the French publication points out.

During several ground operations, mainly in 2006, 2008 and after 2014, as well as during the war in 2021, Israel did everything in its power to destroy the underground network that was built over the course of time and over the years it was turned into a weapons depot and bomb making workshops.

However, Hamas tirelessly continued to build this labyrinth of galleries despite the espionage measures employed by Israeli intelligence.

The competition saw Landry amidst a crowded field of more than a dozen candidates in the jungle primary, where candidates from all parties share the same ballot. Initially anticipated to head to a runoff between the top two vote-getters if no candidate secured over 50 percent of the vote, Landry surpassed this threshold, securing more than half of the vote as of late Saturday night.

Enjoying the support of former President Trump, Landry was expected by many political observers to face Democrat Shawn Wilson in a runoff scheduled for November.

However, Landry's strong performance on Saturday has provided a boost to the GOP, particularly its conservative and populist wing.

Representing the initial significant trial for both Republicans and Democrats leading up to the 2024 elections, the result may indicate an advantageous position for the Republicans as they approach the upcoming races this year and the subsequent presidential election year.

Landry is set to succeed the term-limited Gov. John Bel Edwards, who was the lone Democrat governor in the South.

Oct. 15—We have turned into a bunch of cynics.

Since 1958 the Pew Research Center has been periodically asking Americans, "How much of the time do you think you can trust the government in Washington to do what is right?"

Back then, during the administration of President Dwight Eisenhower, 73% of Americans said they trusted government to do what is right "just about always" or "most of the time." The trust number peaked at 77% in 1964 during the start of the administration of President Lyndon B. Johnson.

The trend has been downward ever since, except for a couple of brief upturns. The last jump in Americans trusting their government came in the wake of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It was also the last time the trust level was north of 50%, ironic given that the federal government had just failed spectacularly in protecting national security.

The trust meter has largely continued its decline since then, through administrations and Congresses both Democrat and Republican. It trended down during President Barack Obama's call for us to "hope" and President Donald Trump's vow to "make America great again."

The trust level in government is now 16%.

No wonder Chicago's financial titans are pissed over an $800 million tax proposal aimed at plugging a $538 million deficit projected for 2024...

According to Fox32, Chicago is providing up to $9,000 in rental assistance over a six-month period, which includes assistance with moving in, as well as a 'starter kit' to furnish their new digs.

"That rent lasts for six months and ideally people would have started their legal process, secured legal work authorization and be able to sustain that apartment. And so the cost, or I guess the payment toward the landlord is based on market rate, it's based on the configuration of the parament – how many rooms, where it's located – all those things. And so it varies from place to place," said Cristina Pacione-Zayas, the city's first deputy chief of staff.

This week, 41 buses have arrived in Chicago, bringing the total number of migrants in shelters to 11,000, with 4,000 still sleeping on police station floors and staying at airports.

Notably, 30% of migrants in Chicago are children, with the majority of them attending Chicago Public Schools. -Fox32

According to the report, Chicago has allocated $4 million to assist migrants with obtaining temporary housing, while the state of Illinois has contributed an additional $38 million.

In September, the city moved asylum seekers from police stations to "winterized base camps" (tents) that could potentially house up to 1,000 people.

There are currently 30-40 case management workers from Catholic Charities actively working to secure temporary housing for migrants, with plans to hire more.

Has Israel’s govt recruited a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee?

“He should not have security clearance. That’s just common sense,” a former Special Forces officer warned after Rep. Brian Mast showed up to work in an Israeli military uniform.

Brian Mast, a member of the United States Congress seated on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, showed up for work this October 13 clad in the uniform of the Israeli military.

“As the only member to serve with both the United States Army and the Israel Defense Forces, I will always stand with Israel,” the evangelical Christian Republican posted on X around 10:30 in the morning.

Mast went on to attack his Palestinian American colleague, Rep Rashida Tlaib, declaring, “Tlaib’s got her flag. I got my uniform. ‘Global Day of Rage’ my ass.”

Mast’s publicity stunt not only highlighted his flamboyant support for an army that has killed 600 children since its assault on the besieged Gaza Strip began on October 8. It also raised the question of how a member of the Congress could proudly serve in a foreign military, then wear its uniform to work, after swearing an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States.

Is it appropriate that someone who has served in a foreign military be allowed to return to the United States and serve on such a sensitive government committee, earning a security clearance along the way?

“Anyone who has worked with the Israelis is briefed that they will attempt to elicit, collect, and recruit from Americans,” a former US Special Operations officer who asked to remain anonymous explained to The Grayzone. “He should not have security clearance. That’s just common sense.”

Having previously served the US military in Afghanistan, Mast volunteered as a bomb disposal specialist for the Israeli army during its 2014 assault on the Gaza Strip. The 51-day assault known as “Operation Protective Edge” resulted in widespread destruction of civilian homes as well as the death of 2202 Palestinians including 526 children.

“I learned a tremendous amount over there just through that experience being on base, being in uniform being next to all of the the service members of the [Israeli army] at that time,” Mast gushed in a June 2020 interview with the American Jewish Committee’s Transatlantic Institute, explaining that he was inspired to join the foreign army after being triggered by pro-Palestine protests on campus during his time at Harvard.

Mast then traveled to Israel under a military program known as Sar-El, which assists Israeli citizens living abroad and, less typically, foreign nationals such as Mast in volunteering for the Israeli army without directly enlisting. Though the Israeli army does not accept non-Jew enlistees, Sar-El enables evangelical Christians like Mast and other non-Jews to fight alongside Israel’s apartheid army.

“One of the terms I’ve learned since being here is ‘achim’—the term ‘brothers.’ I think that we in the US and those here in Israel, I think we are brothers,” Mast told Pat Robertson’s Christian Broadcasting Network in a 2014 profile heralding him as a “US Veteran” who became an “Israeli Hero.”
