This is a New Year thread, it is your yearly reminder that Equestria and magical ponies are not real, don’t exist and never existed. You can think about them, watch their adventures, draw yourself together with them, imagine situations where you’re together, but you will never meet them in real world, you won’t pick them up with any existing sense, nor feel their sweet scent -- so different then the stench of this world, nor feel softness and warmth of their bodies, nor hear their cute warm voices. You will forever be isolated from them. You can lie to yourself, say that I talk shit, but that’s the truth, Harry Potter fans don’t become wizards, LOTR fans don’t turn into elves, and Anime fans have only their silly comics, and you got only your pictures of ponies on the internet. You can look for pointless substitutes but they will always be only substitutes, you can close your eyes and imagine them with best details, but it won’t even be perfect reality, only impaired, and after such session you will only feel worse than before. You can play with lucid dreams, virtual realities or other bullshit, but it won’t even be real interaction with them, they don’t exist, they don’t feel anything. Even if you meet them in your dream it will be just a short circuit in your brain, not a being you desired all your life. You can even believe that in such dream your pony loves you and you’re the most important thing, but the truth is that pony never felt anything towards you, she does not even know about your existence. Remember – there’s no method that could do something about it, everything that focus on your brain will always be incomplete and you will always be aware that it’s a lie, a void. If one day some biologist manage to create a real artificial pony, which most likely won’t happen during your lifetime. Ponies of some band of autistic suckers are far far behind other problems like hunger in the world – but even considering that creation of artificial ponies awaits us in the future it will be only a toy for scientists so they can play god and not a real pony. It could look like your Twilight, Rarity or Fluttershy, it could even think, have nice voice, smell nice, but it will never have all the necessary traits implemented, way of thinking, attitude towards life – and most importantly, they will never give such pony a soul, it will never be your Rarity, Fluttershy or Twiligh, barely an update of regular doll.
