In a similar fashion, I would of course start with my waifu, who of course would be the princess of friendship. I imagine my closest friends would be:

>Sweetie Belle

She probably stops by for magic lessons. She's the cutest filly, best of the CMC, and probably if Twilight didn't exist or had a different character pre-and-post-wings notwithstanding entirely, SB would be my waifu.

>Pinkie Pie

A thicc, upbeat spirit that can cheer anyone up and sure can bake. There's a lot to like about her.

>Rainbow Dash

I certainly wouldn't be able to keep up with or take part in her athletic endeavors, but she'd put on a hell of a show with the wonderbolts and seems like a sweet gal to hang out with.

>Starlight Glimmer

She's actually grown on me, post-reform. Since she hangs out in the castle all day, I'd be sure to run into her a lot and would have plenty of opportunity to chat. Plus I may have a thing for damaged people.

I've always liked Roseluck. A nice down to earth, girl next door kind of mare. I'd be plenty happy to help out at the shop and around the garden.

Of course I'd be stuck with her friends.

Gonna need someone to go drinking with after a long days work, so berry punch seems like the obvious choice, Besides, someone needs to look out for Pinchy when Berry's too drunk.

Twilight will be my wife and one my best friend, of course. I would think my bestest friends are:

There's something about following a hyper and self-centric jock that wouldn't mind an extra company. She just scream adventure if you hang out. Just go with flow of your friend's antics.

>Pinkie Pie

Compared to RD, she is the literal random encounter. I have the same feeling for her as I have for RD. A fun girl that's fun to hang with.

>Spike and Big Mac and maybe Discord

I have a couple of gamebros IRL and they remind me of them, so I would love to hang out with them to talk about games and games accessories.

>Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst

I tend to group my friends even in real life to a certain common interest that I held with them. Although I can always ask Twilight about magic related but the more, the merrier the group is. That doesn't mean that they both are just there to talk about magic. Starlight is a witty gal that I would love to add remarks to anything and Sunburst looks like a great guy to talk to for anything. Who knows, they might hitch off and I'll be happy to see how their relationship goes off With that being said, I have to befriend with Trixie as well. I might not like her that much but I think that looking through her antics is a fun experience itself. And give her the encouragement to something extremely spectacular albeit idiotic. That would be fun to watch and get her back up on her feet.

I could definitely do a hangout with Pinkie Pie, baking cakes and pulling pranks around town. But she has already got a whole lot of friends and probably could only make time once a week, which is pretty good but not best friend tier. I'd probably make friends with a pony who doesnt have a whole lot of friends already which is umm… uh… uhmmmm……………….
