Idk, ever since the mid/ later seasons, Flutter sounds like she's speaking in sarcasm and sometimes a mocking tone.

All the fucking time.

Honestly that slight voice change depleted a lot of her charm (along with her harsher personality. Element of kindness my ass, but that's another post.)

Fluttershy has sucked ever since she became an assertive asshole. I miss the sweet and shy and lovable Fluttershy I met from episode 1. Perhaps this is why I like Marble Pie and Coco Pommel so much. They're like Season 1 Fluttershys but without the bitchy snarkiness that current year Fluttershy has now.

Pretty much all the mane 6 except RD have been officially derailed on some level. Pinkie's eagerness is exaggerated to the point of annoyance, Twilight was made a princess, Rarity can't open her mouth without saying darling, and Applejack is going to become a troubled urban youth. But the difference with Fluttershy is the writers looked at her personality and just didn't like it. It wasn't to sell toys or the result of clumsy writing, it was malice.

I dunno, I just don't get a "charming" or "sweet" vibe from Flutter anymore. She goes straight to harshness or rage when it's unnecessary, also making her regular self seem fake or eerily "ready to blow" at any moment.
