I have the same problem. She's the best pony and looks amazing, but it seems that the more explicit the image, the more the artists go out of their way to make her look like a fat horse.

I used to have this issue, but I realized one thing: I will never be able to physically dominate a pony as big as Celestia. I think naturally men are attracted to things they can dominate, hence why most anons fantasize about smaller mares. Well, I got over that. I know now that I can love a mare of any size Not fat, but you know what I mean. Of course, attracted or not, I will always love Celestia.

So people complain all the time of there being few episodes with the princesses, and I wonder how much of that is because it's expensive to animate them. I remember Faust saying one time how she planned to give the mane 6, and some background ponies even, different body shapes but was shut down because it'd be too expensive.

I think it's more because there's not much you can do with them. Celestia never had much of a personality beyond just being the generic motherly queen figure who also likes messing with people from time to time. Luna had one bit of character development that she needed to accomplish, but that’s been accomplished already with Luna Eclipsed and Magic Sheep (and some people even said Magic Sheep was unnecessary). Then you have the interpersonal problems between the princesses themselves, but those have already been addressed with Royal Problem. I think that, in order to have more episodes about the princesses, you’d have to impose more flaws/problems onto them that justify needing episodes to address, and I don’t think anyone would really want that.
