So, we have sites like Derpibooru that bans loli because it's supposedly illegal for them to host it, yet allow literally thousands of images featuring foalcon and that's perfectly fine legally speaking. Can someone explain to me how that works? Are the laws retarded?

There is no set age of consent for animals. Much less fictional characters that only slightly resemble a real animal. Loli on the other hand is rather detailed in mimicking real children. MLP ponies dont look like real horses or foals.
