I went to trotcon one year. Did nothing but people-watch and go to panels because everyone over 21 is drinking and everyone younger came with their own cliques.

Plan on going to Bronycon this year. Not a fan of Discords but I may or may not say hello to the /pone/ guys. Going to be dropping my parents off with relatives in the suburbs and then going down to the con, technically illegally because I only have temps and then either walking or using public transportation to get everywhere. I got no idea what bigger cons are like or really how miserable it will be, but I figure that if I don't like it I can always just sight-see around the city. Shooting to buy another plush as well, though. Iunno. Only way you're going to make friends at events like these is if you're an extrovert.

I'd like to go just to experience a con once, perhaps next year with members of the /pone/cast. assuming this board is still alive next year. so dead we didn't even have a welcome back thread after 8chins came back up I would have gone this year but was robbed by members of my local nigger population and don't have the money.

I'm thinking that I'm going to bronycon this year if I can get the time off. I think I'd have a good time if I could group up with some of you guys, assuming you aren't insane or homosexual.

I've been to a few cons, but all of them were these really big anime/general fantasy-themed ones, with only trace amounts of pony. Not fun at all to me when you don't really share the same hobby. I wish I could go to one like Galacon (Yuro here), but I'd be going alone, it'd be my first journey abroad, I don't have a plan what I would do there, and I'm really not good with people. Oh, and I don't speak German, either. But I still want to see one. Maybe next year.

Where are you from, anon? We could meet up somewhere halfway to Ludwigsburg, I've been to German-speaking countries quite a few times, so you won't have to worry about anything. Plus you still have two months to prepare for the con, you can still go this year.

And, come on nigger, I am in the same boat as you, the last person I could call friend left for Hueland 4 years ago, and I've been a complete loser with a non-existent social circle ever since. Life has given us a chance to have some fun with real people for once, you should not squander it like that (remember, the only thing you take to the grave with you is regret).
