We're planning to revive the /pone/ book!
What we need:
>Original copies of the stories
None of the guys have the stories. If anyone can post them that would be great.
That's the essentials! But during today's /pone/cast there was discussion on whether to add new stories or not, due to the age of the idea it would be nice to let new blood in on it, and see existing writefag's improvements (or lack there of) with 1-6 page short stories. This would also inject the book with some fresh, never before seen stories.
Money. The 2 minute plan to do with the excess money would be to use it to ship hard copies to anons who bought the book. But if you can think of a better way to use the money, holler.
Graphic design. We have one of our resident drawfag CoInPo on board, willing to do all graphics for the front and back cover, for level of quality see third image we'll finally get to see it finished!

That's one of the things i'm trying to figure out. Unfortunately Amazon won't let you price the book so low that there's no overhead, but if you can think of a way to spend the money be my guest. The general idea is to use it on /pone/. Be that funding for another project, hard copies or straight up paypalling the excess money back to the people on /pone/ who bought a book.

By the way, it's not really any of my concern, but trying to publish and sell a book seems like a bit of a lofty goal; especially for a board that couldn't cough up more than three months of a calendar during its prime. Why not just drop it online as a PDF? That way it can be easily shilled / viewed, and people who are really obsessed could probably just print their own copy.

I don't know what the general consensus is, but I've always considered the earth pony Red to be the pirate CYOA one, and the pegasus version to be the meta Infinity Acres Red (as linked in your post). Even if there's seemingly no connection between the two stories, it makes the distinction readily apparent.

The tavifag story is like 80 pages by itself, the red story is some 300 pages im sure, and even the gordon ramsay fic is 12 pages on google doc, which is larger than a printed book page.
