It wasnt even the song's fault tbh. That was a really catchy song. The problem was the pacing. Those fucks crammed way too much into that movie because apparently every member of that All Star Cast™ needed 15 minutes in the spotlight. If they wanted to spend so much energy on the sea ponies, the song should have been the climax of a 30 minute arc devoted to them, and either the pirates or the cat should have been cut for time.
