Make the show cool and edgy. Darker colors, everyone angry all the time, songs by Linkin Park. Just look how popular Shadow the Hedgehog is and copy whatever he's doing.

- Everypony starts to hate RainbowDash at some point. Rarity really have no common points with her, Pinkie has enough of her faking, Applejack hates her, Fluttershy has enough of RD pushing her down because she's the best flyer, and at some point RainbowDash is starting a fight against Twilight and Glimmer, ends up being THE antagonist, and disappears.

This! An entire episode where ponies are all anatomically correct, showing genitalia, simplified to fit the character design but just like that, that would be disturbing at first but I'm sure if they don't use it, it's going to get unnoticed.
