The worst part isn't even the diversity quotas. They are terrible, make no mistake, but the blatant hypocrisy is even worse.

Hippogriffs, Griffons, Changelings, Dragons and the Yak are all immigrants. None of them are citicens of equestria or even used to live in the country, yet they all get special treatment in the royal school of doing fuckall.

And you know who isn't part of the "diversity quota"?

The donkey's and mules, who live in Equestria as second class citizens.

The buffalo's who live in Equestria, on land being stolen by ponies.

The cows who are forced to live outside the cities in Equestria.

The sheep who are kept as slaves in pens, in Equestria.

The Diamond Dogs, who live underground, in Equestria.

See the pattern? How the fuck is this supposed to be equal, when this school for all who want to learn about friendship IS CLEARLY NOT OPEN TO ANYONE FROM WITHIN EQUESTRIA OTHER THAN PONIES.

The only explanation is that the school is under some kind of racial apartheid law designed to prevent anyone other than ponies from getting proper education or even being seen among their "betters" in an institution being held up as a beacon of inclusivity regardless of race.

I will continue watching every episode until I day, for the memory of old FiM and the hopes that it can one day recapture its former glory. Some times, even in these later seasons, glimmers hints of the old magic shine through and that makes it all worth it. There's not reason not to. After all, watching is free. If I like what I see I can support them by buying merch. It's the exact same approach I take to pirating vidya only when it's the show I get called a hasdrone for watching it for free.
