Honestly, the only important cases in AA1 are the 1st and 4th and 5th
In AA2 you can skip right to the 4th case, coming from a big fan of the series.
AA3 is fairly solid all the way through, with a fantastic story arc.
AA4, well… it tries something different, and it's got some cool parts. The filler is extra boring though.
AA5 I haven't played but I hear it's just good.
AA6 is fukken great IMO, my favorite since 3. That climax though, damn.
That's what made me want to write up a similar kind of game. The player makes an enormous leap in logic to a startling realization, without any direct clues, but the seed was planted there by subtle hints all along.
