Second time out, I couldn't hit the target at 25 yards except by accident. I later learned this was because I had tightened the screws holding the scope down, and didn't re-boresight it but expected it to be as accurate as last time.
The third time I started having real feed issues. Latter set of which, was because the gas block had loosened all three screws, and slid forward far enough to cover the gas hole in the barrel. No more semi-auto for you, mister…
It needed some help, as the first day it had about a 20% failure to detonate rate, but since then I've put both the wolff extra-power spring in, and the "enhanced" firing pin. Detonates like a charm. It just rattles every screw loose, quickly.
So the caliber has some teething issues, but with a bit of foreknowledge, and some loctite, it seems to be pretty reliable. I have to re-paint the upper though, because one of my feed issues was the bolt was drilled for side charging a ways back, and the company that made the upper I bought, expected everybody drilled right at the very front of the carrier. So the bolt catch caught on the carrier, and just barely at that.
Overall I like it, and have been glad of my choice.
