That means there _are_ fictional heroes and villains. Like Maneiac. She doesn't exist, even there.

So what was the deal with the weird air blowy things? In the story, Somnambula walks across a normal straight bridge as a test of faith (yeah, needed a lot of faith for that), and then later when there is no bridge, there's weird, unseen, air fountains. I don't know what to call them.

Would it not have made more sense if:

In the story, there is no bridge, seemingly Somnambula steps out onto thin air and walks across, as if by the magic of hope! Stories are prone to embellishment, and power of hope etc etc.

Then, when Pinkie and Daring are there, they try the same thing and realize… there is a bridge, made of glass! They just couldn't see it.

Maybe not much better but I didn't like what we got in the ep.

I did like how it addressed the aftermath adventurers leave in their wake.

The writers realised they had no way to get the characters to safety so they pulled stupid shit out of their asses to save the main characters.

Its the hallmark of a writer who didn't put any effort into writing the story, but then again, what do you expect from a Daring Do episode?

Same reason the locals are somehow magically no longer angry at Daring Do for breaking their sacred statue, since some guy was caught stealing necklaces.

Damn shame it was already leaked.

I thought it was because they wanted to have a visual of the story while still being able to pull the "leap of faith" thing for the audience when Pinkie and Daring Do did it. I imagine the flashback story that we see is what RD just imagined when the story was being told. Obviously nobody there had actually been in that room, so when the story started circulating and it said that chick had to walk across the gap blindfolded, people just assumed there was a bridge or something. Granted, I'm just guessing; if that's actually what they were trying to do, it could have been much clearer.

Did you not watch "Campfire Tales?" That is exactly what happened. They also managed to get Rarity wet again. Seriously, go back and watch that episode. You can't miss Sweetie Belle taking a load in the eye.

Just like this episode, easily forgettable and I wish I hadn't watched it. I just wish it didn't exist.
