Consider some of us….. that's not nearly as easy. Many of us who are here never had a social media account. Some of us never used a smartphone before. Many are VPN & Tor users, who routinely change IPs and/or spoof metadata on the client side. These are the types that are much harder to track just due to the lack of data about our online activities. And that is a major part of the mass surveillance program, is to know who is who or what they do.

Going from there, consider a fraction of us who still use cash too, who only drive older (all mechanical) vehicles, some who may not even pay taxes or be on an IRS database… those are even more hard to find and often slip under the radar. And unless they make a name for themselves they'll likely go undetected and slip right through the cracks.
