It's a ruse Keynesian-style economic theory that really only benefits those in power whom are also typically very wealthy and well connected. The people who support communism are well-meaning useful idiots. In communist countries the "Bourgeoisie" (aka the middle class) are blamed as the scapegoat boogeyman for the corrupt failed government-run economy and thus private properties are typically confiscated for wealth redistribution. Of-course the only little tiny problem is the wealth redistributed benefits those already in power, those who are already well-connected and enriched to begin with. So it leads to the same feudalism and shitty living standards the useful idiots often complained about. For the "common good" you must be forced into poverty along with every other miserable serf. Those that resist are often killed.

By the way all Keynesian economists are idiots. Those that claim they are "capitalists" too. Keynesian economics has nothing at all to do with a free market system or fair competition, it has everything to do with a centrally-controlled government-subsidized highly regulated economy where GDP (actual industrial production) does not factor into the theory and where debt is glamorized as the only solution to every fucked up problem that is bred thereafter! Sound familiar?!?! It should! It should.

In a nutshell, this is exactly where communism (and all forms of Keynesian(isms) lead:

https://www.dailysignal.com/2024/04/15/california-spends-24-billion-on-homelessness-without-tracking-results/

https://www.cbsnews.com/sanfrancisco/news/california-homelessness-spending-audit-24b-five-years-didnt-consistently-track-outcomes/

https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-04-09/state-audit-california-fails-to-track-homeless-spending-billions-dollars

The economic cycle is typical as it is fraudulent, it is awash in wasteful spending and debt "for the common good" only to end up with the same problems and offers nothing to show for it. The policy makers are getting suspiciously richer in the meantime, of-course. It is much like California's multi-million dollar "high speed rail to nowhere" that is still non-existent, only partly built and then abandoned, but with all taxpayer money already spent for the whole project decades ago.

I hate communists and keynesians. However, real conservatives should hate capitalism too. Nothing is as destructive to tradition and culture as capitalism. Even communism failed to completely wipe out Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian culture in the same way that capitalism has burned away the traditions of Britain, America, and France.

It reduces everything into a commodity to be bought and sold. Everything that stands in the way of profit is destroyed, leaving us a cultural desert. Everyone wears the same Chinese made T-shirt, listens to the same bland music, and adheres to the same consoooomer anti-culture.

Actually, the end result of communism is, in the words of Lenin, "turning the world into a giant warehouse." Sounds exactly like the end result of global capitalism. Communism and capitalism are two sides of the same shekel. In fact, capitalism causes communism. Bolshevism never arose in traditional societies. They only rose up in societies that were undergoing capitalization. If Britain had gone through industrialization a century later, it may well have experienced a communist revolution. France certainly did.

Furthermore, real conservatives should hate capitalists as well. EVERY SINGLE billionaire who runs America openly hates you. They fund literal communists to throw bricks at conservatives. I know you think that the oligarchs are not true capitalists but they sure look like capitalists to me. They got there because America abandoned traditional values to embrace profit as the true arbiter of worth. You say,

>But capitalism is the free market and the state interferes by having regulations and the regulations benefit the rich on purpose

Okay, fine. But you know, they rich got rich by way of cut throat capitalism and if profit is the primary means of determining worth, why shouldn't they use the state to destroy their competition? This "free market" has never existed on a national scale.

The rich hate you. They are destroying the last remnants of American culture. They are evil.

We no longer have free market capitalism today, those days are long gone. The US adopted Keynesian economics back when Nixon took the US Dollar off the gold standard back in 1971 (Bretton Woods system which pegged our currency to gold after World War II). Deals with OPEC nations temporarily saved the US Dollar's status as the global reserve currency for international trade, as it was backed by oil since 1974 up to the year 2008.

Between that extensive time period the economy started getting rapidly worse and inevitably led to American industry fleeing to other nations like China, Taiwan, Canada and Mexico (outsourcing of productive jobs). Since then lots of wars have been fought and covert coups have been launched to protect the US Dollar as global reserve currency. By 2008 you had the insolvent big banks facing bankruptcy due to debt insolvency and massive mortgage-backed security fraud. Congress was then faced with two choices: #1 allow the big banks to go bust and bankrupt, allow the stock market to crash and then let Americans deal with the crisis and recover naturally and learn from the mistakes (this was by far the best option) … or #2 bailout the corrupt banker bastards using taxpayer money and printing billions in fiat currency (the horrible choice that Congress made). Ever since that crisis every single time we get into financial trouble government immediately issues bailouts now. Now Congress and the government is spending Trillions of dollars every 100 days to prop up this dying insolvent corrupt system that basically has no more industry or means of production. The entire "economy" we have today is a de-facto RUSE. The only reason we maintained it this long is because we had the global reserve currency status agreed by OPEC nations! Oh…. and after what happened to Gaza, now those same OPEC nations HATE OUR GUTS TODAY! The world is turning away from the US Dollar. The death knell will come soon, when you see Trillion dollar budgets passed by Congress every single month. Then poof, the US Dollar will not be worth the toilet paper you wipe your ass with.

>Furthermore, real conservatives should hate capitalists as well. EVERY SINGLE billionaire who runs America openly hates you. They fund literal communists to throw bricks at conservatives. I know you think that the oligarchs are not true capitalists but they sure look like capitalists to me.

What the rich oligarchs now promote is openly feudalism if you take a look at all their meetings and what they openly say and talk about. "You will own nothing!" was one of their most notorious talking points since the covid scamdemic. They actually talked about how they want the government to control every economic facet in our lives. That is not at all the way free market capitalism works. First off, to have a free market you cannot rely on endless debt and endless bailouts in the first place. Free markers are NOT pro-Keynesian. Free markets are pro-competition, it's all about supply and demand (consumer choice). The services and companies that give consumers what they desire thrive, the ones that cannot go bankrupt. Simple as. That is free market capitalism: there are no bailouts or political agendas! You either compete and can make a profit from what consumers desire or you go bust and file bankruptcy. As a consumer you have the freedom to boycott or refuse to purchase something you wish to, or to buy something from someone else if you wish. Also, the free market does not mean anarchy in any way shape or form. It does not mean there is no rule of law or no Anti-trust laws that crackdown on abusive monopoly. Corrupt entities can still get caught in free markets and end up going to jail (as they should). Basically the free market is consumer freedom mixed with entrepreneurial and merchant freedom, the freedom to buy and sell what you desire in accordance to basic public safety laws and sensible regulation which prohibits foul-play, fraud, theft and ponzi schemes. Think of the free market as a massive farmers market and giant flea market merged into one, with some cops to keep the peace and prevent crime. With a free market you don't have utilities being banned due to political agenda, you don't have the government telling you how to consume or interfering with normal law-abiding businesses, industry. You don't have oligarchs setting nefarious agenda. That's simply not what a free market is about.

What does gold have to do with capitalism?

Capitalism is about using labor and capital to create profit.

>Free markets are pro-competition, it's all about supply and demand (consumer choice).

Free markets usually means Laissez Faire.

If that is what you mean, free markets will often not create competition.

We allegedly live in a free market now. Technically, you can start up your own Twitter clone and try to compete with Twitter. But you will fail no matter how good it is because the myth of the rational consumer is just bullshit. People don't choose to buy things based on full information. Most people only have incomplete information and make choices based on what they think is popular. They learn what is popular by watching media. Since all the media corporations shill for facebook and Twitter, your social media company will never be able to compete.

Furthermore, Twitter is where people are. Your platform is where people aren't. The best you could do is peel off a niche community like Gab did. But no matter how good Gab is, people will go to twitter to communicate in microblogs because Twitter occupies the microblogging monopoly. It is a natural monopoly.

The same is true with youtube, facebook, and every other social media platform with a natural monopoly.
