/pnd/, I've heard that Australia is a desert with a propensity for brush fires because the only way that abos knew how to hunt was by burning down entire forests and then retrieving the dead animals; that, originally, Australia was lush and filled with biodiversity and megafauna, which the abos destroyed. Can someone please provide me with some citations (from reliable sources) regardinng this? I'm trying to raise awareness about this little-known fact.
