Organizing bank runs is way more powerful than protests and boycotts, bank runs would hit the wealthy and the powerful really hard, especially in the current economic crisis.
As it has a "Snowball effect" nature, small bank run protests would make more people worry and participate into draining banks even if they don't care about humanity.
If you think that it is unethical, remember that these banks lend money to governments to fund bombing innocent, remember that your life savings would contribute to the tragedy, remember the mothers that had to recognize their children without their heads, remember the little boys who collected their siblings limbs, remember the babies who lost their families, remember the hundreds of thousands who might never come back home again, it costs you nothing to withdraw your savings, but otherwise costs someone their family, their health, their life…
