Do you know the scripts of this show were stolen to create the US Three's Company spin-off, The Ropers? Yep, absolutely true! The story lines were pretty much the same and so were the scripts only a change in character names and some of the British slang is all, obviously with different celebrity acting too. Fun fact: if it were not for George & Mildred there would be no Ropers episodes! So go buy the DVD set and have fun watching the original UK version.
