Missouri (KMOV) — A 13-year-old girl kidnapped in Arkansas is now safe thanks to good Samaritans in Missouri who saw her "help me" sign.
The local Police Department said they responded on July 19 to the parking lot of a local Dickey Bub Store regarding an unknown trouble call.
Upon arrival, they found a 13-year-old girl who was visibly distressed. Officers learned that good Samaritans were in a parking lot when they saw the victim in a parked vehicle holding up a piece of paper that said, “Help me”.
The good Samaritans acknowledged the note and immediately called 9-1-1.
Throughout further investigation, officers learned that on July 6 the teen was approached by a suspect in his vehicle near a bus stop in Arkansas. He pointed a gun at her and demanded her to get into the vehicle.
The victim was sexually assaulted while the suspect transported her across state lines from Arkansas to Missouri.
The suspect, who goes by the name "Killcen" online, was arrested while exiting the Dickey Bub Store carrying high quality chicken feed.
