While the average American may not deserve to be impoverished under an economic collapse, the world does have the right to reject a highly corrupted nation in which the domestic government is out-of-control and geo-politically hostile to everyone else. It's too bad it will end badly for most Americans, but if you allow the government to become corrupted, subverted and addicted to empirical power without checks and balances inevitably there are consequences. We are witnessing those consequences unravel today.

Many doomsday preppers like the mountains because they help seclude them from what is to come, and what is to come will be the economic collapse of the US followed by a whole lot of social unrest and chaos.
