Greater Idaho is likely to carve out a significant portion of Washington State and Oregon that won't want anything to do with "Cascadia". There's an attached PDF about the formation of Idaho that provides some interesting historical perspective on Washington State and the Oregon Territories also, and may relate to that part of your map. Changes are definitely on the way, and precedent exists for major changes to occur in the makeup of the North American Territories (which includes the entire continent north of Mexico). I don't see England being able to do much to protect Canada from being split all to fuck any more than the "United States" (Washington, District of Columbia) will be able to. States may soon reassert more of their rights for the people of the land, and tell D.C. to go fuck itself.

MY COMMENT: I predicted this a while back ago, not necessarily just the movement of Greater Idaho but the gist of defection and growing secession movements in general due to the absolute corruption and political subversion happening within the USSA today. My prediction is the economy will inevitably collapse much like it did under the USSR, the Soviet Union was very corrupted, insolvent and indebted like we are today too, and when the USSR finally collapsed they faced massive balkanization and Russia's sovereignty has been restored two decades later. That's my prediction for the USSA. I do think there will be a lot of suffering and death before we recover, and there definitely will be a monetary collapse before total balkanization takes place. America will recover eventually, but not under the same kind of government in power, and through a lot of hardship.

As for "am I ready"?

HA!

I'm the guy who has been telling people to get prepared for over 20 years now. Those that listened to me are riding out the storm right now, inflation is not much of a problem for those who have prepared in the past. Those that have not prepared will have to tough it out a lot harder and they'll sure feel the sting in their wallets and bank accounts as time goes on. Prepping is a hedge against rising price inflation.

north america won't balkanize, it will become colonial territory for china to harvest natural resources from by the point that the american government destabilizes enough to geographically fracture. either that or canada and mexico will try to expand their borders before climate change makes parts of the world desert. the USA is definitely in decline but i'm expecting a similar path to the UK where they just lost global significance and no longer has vasal states. currently all of europe is this way where the US does the heavy lifting for NATO, they'll just pick someone new.
