'MY COMMENT:
I used to be on Metro PCS prepaid phone service, and I was extremely happy with my service… then, MetroPCS got bought out by T-Mobile, and it becameMetro by T-Mobile
At first, the service was just as good as before the corporate takeover, but eventually things started to get a little wishy-washy, and their customer service went downhill…
Boost Mobile was garbage back in the day, back when it was owned by Virgin Mobile…
But when DISH Network bought Boost Mobile, things went even farther downhill…
However, Dish Network reinvented Boost, and they developed it into a premium post-paid service called BOOST INFINITE…
after carefully researching it, I made the decision to switch from Metro by T-Mobile to Boost Infinite, owned by Dish Network….
I set up a boost infinite account under the name Johnny Neptune.
Boost Infinite gives you COMPLETELY UNLIMITED 5G HIGH SPEED for only $25 per month.
oddly enough, my billing date was on the 23rd of each month
and last Thursday, Feb 23rd, I called to pay my $25 bill with a debit card under the name JOHNNY NEPTUNE (it's a burner card)
and ironically enough, that's the same day the system went down.
There was no way to get through to customer service by dialing 611 or going to a website or using an app or anything.. the entire customer service and it base was frozen.
So the next call I made was to Dish Network customer service, and I got the same thing.. Dish Network was frozen, and they were unable to address any customer service issues…
Of course the first thing that crossed my mind was a ransomware attack
(the 2nd thing that crossed my mind was having my JOHNNY NEPTUNE debit card replaced with all new numbers & exp dates & CCV, which I did immediately)
that entire day (Feb 23rd) the system was unreachable… when a customer tried calling customer service, all they got was a busy signal…
that evening at midnight, my service was suspended due to my inability to pay online, in-app, or by phone
HOWEVER: the next morning at 6 AM my phone was back on.
ALL DISH NETWORK, BOOST MOBILE & BOOST INFINITE CUSTOMERS ARE RECEIVINGFREE SERVICE INDEFINITELY
so…… now they are finally admitting it was a ransomware attack
and my personal info may have been taken….
LOL MYFAKEPERSONAL INFO
all that info is false, my name, age, DOB, address…… it's ALL fake
my debit card info?
well, that's fake, too
my name ISN'T Neptune (duhh)
and the debit card numbers are already null & void
So if anybody tries using my info taken from the ransomware attack, ITS ALL FAKE
And for the foreseeable future I'm just sitting here getting unlimited lightning fast 5G service absolutely free
