MY COMMENT: I just read an interesting financial report disseminating economic fictions and economic realities. Here's one reality some do not grasp about being wealthy, being wealthy is a COMBINATION of personal advantages, rather than just a one-fits-all definition. Being wealthy is NOT about having lots of money to throw around or being happy. That is NOT wealth. Stock and bond investments can re-value at any time, unpredictably, they can boom or crash to 0. Having a six-figure salary does not mean you can't be fired or have job security. Having a 401(k) or IRA account does not make the savings immune from a financial crash or banker "bail-ins" during a crisis. That's not wealth…. What is wealth? Wealth is a multitude of personal advantages in life: the ability to live comfortably is one, feeling financially secure and being well prepared for the unknown is another, but wealth is also being debt-free, relatively independent and owning private property. That's the economic reality.
