The Unabomber is misunderstood by the right, specially by libertarians (anarcho-capitalists, right-wing anarchists).
Ted Kaczynski was extreme-left anarcho-primitivist, and mostly criticized moderate leftists.
He agreed with Marx and went further than rejecting the Industrial Revolution; he was against the Agricultural Revolution, and wanted to return humanity to tribal life.
He wasn't a prepper, but a primitivist who wanted to live alone in the woods but wasn't allowed to.
He was against tech, industry and agriculture because he was an anarcho-primitivist.

I'm not gonna say you're wrong, I'm just gonna drop a link to his 2011 essay titled "The Truth About Primitive Life: A Critique of Anarchoprimitivism". He also written for Green Anarchy on multiple occasions and they have published tons of critiques of primitivism for romanticizing indigenous peoples and hypocritically being based on sciences like anthropology and archaeology

MY COMMENT:
He was still right about ONE thing, that vast technological advances would eventually outpace most human's ability to adapt (or overcome challenges) and inevitably it would lead to our own bondage and demise.
To this day I could see that happening with the advancements of cyber-warfare to biological weapons to weather modification to space weaponry to AI robotic warfare, etc. It's governments that can put all of that deadly technology to use against the rest of us, and as we all know damn well governments have gone insane and despotic before. Imagine if they became hell-bent to disarm us and we fought back. They'd likely release drones to utilizing EMP attacks to knock out our communications and grid, they could release deadly bio-weapons in smaller towns and quarantine those towns off to die and parish, etc.
THAT is what Americans need to be prepared for, the absolute WORST. I've said it before, as a doomsday prepper I am ready to die, I have to be! There is no other choice when you are determined to live free or fight to the bitter end. Pray to Jesus that we receive Divine Intervention from these despotic demons roaming the Earth as 'elitist' humans. They're NOT human or of God, but of Satan!
