Confession for newbies here: the biggest mistake I made as a prepper a while back ago was I bought a bunch of food and simply stocked it on some shelving. Little did I consider pests could get into it, and over time, even as I rotated a lot of the food, they did. I ended up having to throw about $200 worth of food away. Late last year I bought more shelving and a bunch of clear totes (with lids), and I now put all the non-canned foods in the totes so no pests like mice can get to them anymore. This cost some money but it will save me money long-term as pests can no longer ruin my food stockup.

If you have extra flour, sugar, oatmeal and-or grits, mice and rats LOVE that stuff and so do the bugs, make sure all of that food is stocked in totes which are sealed good.

I think one of the most valuable thing about prepping is that you never feel any fear when you are prepared so no matter how the kikes pressure you to feel fear, you can, for the most part ignore it.

Very true, it does feel good knowing you have food security and essentials to last you a while without needing to go out to the store. For those that happen to live in a city where there are chimp outs (riots) it's common sense to have some extra basic essentials in order to stay away from the violence and unrest and remain safe indoors, having a firearm helps if absolutely needed in a worst case scenario like an intruder breaking into the home.

Yes, what I tend to do is label my food when I buy it by date, then I put the newest in one section, and keep placing the older in another to use up first. When you have a section dedicated to 2+ year old food, you know that is the section you need to consume within the next year or so. When I shop for food I find myself rarely eating anything brand new, I always stock it and rotate it.

Frozen foods, like having a quarter or half cow, can last a long time too if you have a box freezer to store it all. Typically you can buy bulk beef for very good deals at local farmers markets, they'll tell you where and when to pay for it, where the meat will be processed and when to pick it up. I also have been doing that for food security over the last decade, beef can be stored a long time in a box freezer and a half cow worth will last you for several years. I have hamburger twice a week and steak once a week which will last me two or so years all for $1,400 total cost.

You should go to the local discount store and stock up on some canned goods, I've seen a pound grits before literally sold for $1 per pound. If you buy 20 pounds of grits for dirt cheap that's a lot of food, that alone with some salt and pepper will be enough to feed you for a few months on ration.

Homesteading is just as important as having some guns and fortification to protect it. I prefer a little of both. If you have a garden and tools, you'll still need to protect it too when SHTF because others will want to take your stuff when desperate.

If you can't legally own a gun, or afford one, you could always go for bear spray. Do not underestimate that, that will disable anyone (with or without a gun), as it will temporarily blind (and burn) an attacker from up to 30' away. Another idea is to learn self-defense training and tactical skills to properly disarm an attacker. It could save your life.

I have been burned by this a couple times because they have old stuff on the shelf and it expires before are expecting. I generally plan about three years for canned goods and if they have old stuff on the shelves it ruins that plan.

Yes, but take into consideration just because something is "expired" does not mean it has actually gone bad. TRUTH: I've tried many outdated "expired" cans of food that were still good and gave me no problem. I still have some canned soup I eat now and then that are over 5 years expiration date, it still tastes fine and I don't get sick from it at all.

However, I would not go after 8 years expiration. I once tried a can of Spam which was 10 years old, and I did get bad diarrhea from it, had to throw away the rest. Canned food will go bad, but it typically takes a few years after expiration.

I only use the supply chain to prep so I have some backups of what I need, but you are correct, the goal is to become self-sufficient too, you need to be gardening, hunting, fishing, learning to butcher game and learning to properly store the meat for long-term rationing, canning and jarring foods for long-term storage, raising livestock (at the very least have a dozen chickens for eggs & meat & more chicks to rotate them as you do the stock!)…. also, get to know the locals nearby, go to local farmers markets and make contacts with others who sell their food locally. These contacts will come in handy too. You could always barter certain goods like ammo or extra propane for a slab of brisket after the economy collapses if need be. But don't rely on them either, like you mentioned be as self-sufficient as you can. It takes time, effort and some investment but it is worth it.

Most countries don't decline so peacefully though, typically there is a 'breaking point' where social unrest happens, usually over economic strife. I could definitely see that happening in America. ¤ ¤ ¤ HOW TO STAY SAFE AT NIGHT DURING A COMMUNIST REVOLUTION ¤ ¤ ¤

I've been thinking writing about this issue recently. This is something I got prepared for a while back ago, a decade maybe longer. I really got this down well and would like to share what I know. I assume most hardcore preppers already do the same, so this is NOT for you guys because you are already aware of what I will have to say.

Communist revolutions are dangerous and violent, they are empowered by systemic corruption, insolvency, greed and moral decay. The middle class and lower class are always the ones culled in a communist revolution, never the uber rich as they are well protected and have offshore safe havens and get-aways. It tends to be the rich who fund communist revolutions anyway as a means to cull the population. It is always the struggling lower and middle classes that get robbed and killed in communist revolutions. ALWAYS.

Now that this FACT is settled lets talk about one of their many hostile tactics to rob, rape and/or kill you. Communists have many radical tactics. They can blow up a levee or dam to flood out communities they cannot loot or control. They'll also use arson to subjugate their victims too. Sometimes they'll disrupt transportation, much like Antifa derails Amtrack trains and cargo shipments across the midwest! Very common tactics. Another thing communists will do is use a hijacked corrupted government to target families, often at night or early in the morning when people are sound asleep. Or sometimes they'll use mobs to do that too. Depends on the situations at hand. Gun grabs and gulag kidnappings go hand-in-hand during communist revolutions. They know very well the most vulnerable point in time for their victims is when they are sleeping! This is one area in which I have prepped pretty well for!

I have some mitigation tactics for those who plan this for me, and I'll be happy to share these tips with all of you:

(1) First off get used to sleeping in clothing, next to some boots by the side of your bed, cargo pants and a flannel shirt are great and comfy enough to sleep in. (2) You'll want to have a loaded handgun next to your bed, maybe on the nightstand, or you can sleep with it locked on safety mode. Either way have a loaded gun ready to use if you were to wake up during a B&E job or gulag kidnap gun grab. (3) You want something that is battery operated by the side of your bed or mounted to the wall next to you which will allow you to see in the dark. It could be night vision goggles, it could be a handheld portable LED light, it could be a small lamp hooked up to a 12V-powered 200 watt inverter. Maybe a heavy duty flashlight. Whatever it is, make sure you can see good in the dark, and make sure you can use it off-grid!! Have it handy and practice with it in the dark till you can utilize it within 5 seconds when need be. (4) Hardcore entry point fortification and some kind of alarm system that will alert you during a breach at night. When I talk about "entry point fortification" what I mean is having katy bars, floor locks, multiple dead bolts (with long strike plates + 3" stainless steel screws) to reinforce your exterior doors. If you have any patio glass door you need to knock it out and replace it by building an extended wall over it. Windows should also be covered or barred up from the inside, you can easily use wood bits to drill holes through the 2x4s around the frames of the windows and use stainless steel bolts with washers and nuts to mount thick plywood and/or warehouse shelving beams against the windows. Just make sure you get the measurements down correctly and have them leveled.

Basic review:

1) Well clothed, ready to hop out of bed and get into defensive mode.

2) Have a firearm handy next to where you sleep, with extra ammo nearby too.

3) Some kind of battery operated lighting or night vision goggles.

4) Some kind of alarm system for the hardened entry points encase they are breached.

They are perfect for longterm storage, no shelves needed, rodent proof, and halfway up, you can place a round cardboard and top it with something that isn't food for concealment.

Remember the basics: you'll need shelter, food, clean water, sanitation supplies, DIY entry-point fortification and weapons to protect yourself and property. Something to survive cold winter and very hot summer too, or any abnormal extreme weather patterns. I'm currently building a greenhouse extension to my homestead so I can plant veggies all year around, and keep existing plants alive even during winter. I'll simply need to keep the plants from freezing and at least get a couple hours of sunlight or synthetic UV light to keep them alive.

The (((US government))) is up to their old tricks once again, this time trying to manufacture another massive "Dust Bowl" style drought in attempt to starve lower and middle class Americans. The usual communist tactic of subjugation: starving the masses into dependency.

I was listening to a Mike Adams podcast and he was talking about prepping for crisis, and he came up with a very good idea, you really need three types of solutions when it comes to prepping (you factor everything using this strategy):

1) You'll need some high-tech solutions. This is equipment that relies on some form of digital or radio technology and communication: satellite phones, HAM radio, walkie talkies, emergency GPS devices, etc.

2) You'll need some low-tech solutions. Mostly mechanical equipment that can be powered off-grid. Power tools, inverters & 12V batteries, solar powered equipment, generators, flashlights & battery powered portable LED lighting, night vision, motion detection, etc.

3) You'll need some no-tech solutions. This is bare basic assets which do not need electricity or digital communication to use. It all depends what State you live in, what county you live in and the local zoning codes. Some places in America it is perfectly legal to add on to your existing home without any permit. Typically unincorporated rural areas. Otherwise, if you live in a suburban setting even in a smaller town there very likely could be permits and regulations. I would suggest looking into a book called "The Secure Home" by Joel Skousen. I'm almost sure he does get into topics that you are interested in. He is a prepper and homesteading enthusiast.

Albeit, there are some downsides to underground construction. #1 it takes heavy equipment, hard labor and skills. #2 it is very expensive, not a lot of common folk do it. #3 it really is not as safe an option as you might think. For example, if the ventilation systems were to ever be sabotaged you'd die underground. Also, there are "bunker busters" almost any modern military on Earth can deploy that can destroy underground facilities. It is one thing to get into doomsday prepping, but you also have to consider the fact if very powerful forces want you dead, you'll be dead. The main thing is to stand your ground and do what you can to survive the wars and crisis, laying low.

The most logical idea if you want a bunker to be convert your basement into one, if you have a basement. There are construction companies that can build basements and foundations for you but it costs money. Otherwise you'd have to rent out proper excavation equipment, trench diggers, a cement truck, all the tools for laying down the foundation properly, etc. Some of that alone requires you have permits to operate those machines. They don't just allow anyone to rent and use that equipment.

The lesson: If you really want to be prepared you'll have some extra food stocked up, and you will go to the local farmer markets and get to know your local farmers who sell veggies and meats. Buy from them. Make contacts and exchange contacts too. This will set you up with a connection to food WITHOUT the government or third party interference! If you are considering getting out to a safer place before the axe falls in your area, you might want to do that now. Not only are countries banning the unvaxxed from entering, they are now banning people from leaving. Canada has banned people from leaving by car, plane, boat, on foot, bicycle, EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. Australia banned plane and boat, as did New Zealand which is effectively everything unless you want to try to float out of there on a beach toy.

I spent quite a while looking for other countries that had similar restrictions and found none. But as things progress it is highly probable the list will grow, Covid is about control after all.

But there's at least a lot of good news, outright vax mandates are few and far between and mostly limited to "shithole countries" no one considers fully civilized. A majority of countries are simply irritating their populations with inconveniences intended to coax them into getting jabbed. Austria tried mandates but is a more advanced country with thinking people and the police said NO. That's a major positive.

I don't think the plan to wipe out humanity is going to succeed. All we need to do is hold onto those we still have who are alive and genetically intact, and we will beat this. Yes, there will be many losses at this point but nothing has happened so far that is going to finish off humanity, too many people know what the shots are and they are totally anchored against it. I've been thinking writing about this issue recently. This is something I got prepared for a while back ago, a decade maybe longer. I really got this down well and would like to share what I know. I assume most hardcore preppers already do the same, so this is NOT for you guys because you are already aware of what I will have to say.

Communist revolutions are dangerous and violent, they are empowered by systemic corruption, insolvency, greed and moral decay. The middle class and lower class are always the ones culled in a communist revolution, never the uber rich as they are well protected and have offshore safe havens and get-aways. It tends to be the rich who fund communist revolutions anyway as a means to cull the population. It is always the struggling lower and middle classes that get robbed and killed in communist revolutions. ALWAYS.

Now that this FACT is settled lets talk about one of their many hostile tactics to rob, rape and/or kill you. Communists have many radical tactics. They can blow up a levee or dam to flood out communities they cannot loot or control. They'll also use arson to subjugate their victims too. Sometimes they'll disrupt transportation, much like Antifa derails Amtrack trains and cargo shipments across the midwest! Very common tactics. Another thing communists will do is use a hijacked corrupted government to target families, often at night or early in the morning when people are sound asleep. Or sometimes they'll use mobs to do that too. Depends on the situations at hand. Gun grabs and gulag kidnappings go hand-in-hand during communist revolutions. They know very well the most vulnerable point in time for their victims is when they are sleeping! This is one area in which I have prepped pretty well for!

I have some mitigation tactics for those who plan this for me, and I'll be happy to share these tips with all of you:

(1) First off get used to sleeping in clothing, next to some boots by the side of your bed, cargo pants and a flannel shirt are great and comfy enough to sleep in. (2) You'll want to have a loaded handgun next to your bed, maybe on the nightstand, or you can sleep with it locked on safety mode. Either way have a loaded gun ready to use if you were to wake up during a B&E job or gulag kidnap gun grab. (3) You want something that is battery operated by the side of your bed or mounted to the wall next to you which will allow you to see in the dark. It could be night vision goggles, it could be a handheld portable LED light, it could be a small lamp hooked up to a 12V-powered 200 watt inverter. Maybe a heavy duty flashlight. Whatever it is, make sure you can see good in the dark, and make sure you can use it off-grid!! Have it handy and practice with it in the dark till you can utilize it within 5 seconds when need be. (4) Hardcore entry point fortification and some kind of alarm system that will alert you during a breach at night. When I talk about "entry point fortification" what I mean is having katy bars, floor locks, multiple dead bolts (with long strike plates + 3" stainless steel screws) to reinforce your exterior doors. If you have any patio glass door you need to knock it out and replace it by building an extended wall over it. Windows should also be covered or barred up from the inside, you can easily use wood bits to drill holes through the 2x4s around the frames of the windows and use stainless steel bolts with washers and nuts to mount thick plywood and/or warehouse shelving beams against the windows. Just make sure you get the measurements down correctly and have them leveled.

Basic review:

1) Well clothed, ready to hop out of bed and get into defensive mode.

2) Have a firearm handy next to where you sleep, with extra ammo nearby too.

3) Some kind of battery operated lighting or night vision goggles.

4) Some kind of alarm system for the hardened entry points encase they are breached.

Prepping For A Power Outage: What To Stock Up On

While authorities typically give out notices in advance of a blackout, SHTF scenarios will feature abrupt power outages that last for a long time. Days without electricity could put you and your family’s safety on the line if you’re not prepared for a sudden power outage.

MY COMMENT:THIS!Never expect any notice before/during a real SHTF crisis! You do need to be prepared NOW for it, before it happens. In fact, the major indication of SHTF/another major world war would be the power grid and/or internet going out without notice. You have about 8 hours before full-blown panic kicks in! Then suddenly, once all the mindless consumers "get it" they'll all be flocking to the stores to grab up as much supplies as they can manage, likely fighting over the supplies! You NEVER ever want to be one of those poor fools!

WHAT THIS LIST DID NOT MENTION:A LOT!You most definitely want a wood burning stove or fireplace during winter with plenty of wood stocked up! Of-course this is likely not allowed in most communist-run cities or metro areas, but most of America outside the cities have those utilities. It's most common out in the rural areas, out where I live everyone has wood stocked up for winter! There are some who don't even have power or internet today, they are THAT old fashion and I admire them for it. You'll also need guns/ammo to protect your family and property. Arm the kids during a crisis, they will be of help, just make sure they know how to shoot and safely handle the gun! You'll want a solar generator that can trickle charge 12V batteries and power inverters to hook the 12Vs up to, maybe a couple 2000 watt inverters. That's enough to cover the very basics like the box freezers and fridge! Have 4 or 5 12V batteries routinely charged ready to go, when you use a couple make sure you are charging the others! Rain water is a great source of water IF done right! You need plenty of water purification tablets, cheese cloth and water filters. Before drinking, you need to strain the water out with cheese cloth into a bucket, then you need to add the purification tablets in to kill the bacteria, then you need a really good water filter to clean all the chemicals out of it, then boil the water after it's filtered properly and PRESTO! Clean water from the sky! While you are guarding your family, you could become bored in the rural areas as nothing much will likely happen if you are very rural, so buy some crossword puzzle books and some cards to play Blackjack with the family. Also, if you drink a lot like I do, you better have at least 50 liters of Vodka stashed somewhere, just make sure the kids don't get to them, last thing you need is drunk kids playing cowboys and indians in the house!

It's easy to stock up on some long-term storage foods, what people need to consider is stocking up on some sanitary items and consider having some backup water stored too. Part of prepping is not just stockpiling resources, but learning how to collect resources when things go awry. Here is the thing: after the shtf you have about 3 to 4 weeks before psychopath wonderland hits. What will trigger psychopath wonderland, will be when the medicine stops. There are a lot of people in this world who are parasites, they owe their lives to a system that values everyone equally despite contribution or lack of. If you live 40+ miles away from any major city you are much safer, and will see a lot less marauders and psychopaths, especially if the property is tucked away somewhere down long gravel roads. Canned food is safe and does not need to be stored in totes. I also put dates on the foods to keep an inventory and rotate the foods, older storage gets removed and eaten every time we go to Costco or Sams Club to stockup more. A New York court struck down New York City's noncitizen voting law Monday, ruling that the law violated the state's constitution and state election laws.

In a 13-page opinion obtained by the Daily Caller's Henry Rodgers, the New York Supreme Court for Richmond County ruled against Mayor Eric Adams and the New York City Council, declaring that a law permitting noncitizen lawful permanent residents and green card holders to vote in municipal elections was illegal.

"The New York State Constitution explicitly lays the foundation for ascertaining that only proper citizens retain the right to voter privileges," Judge Ralph J. Rorzio wrote. "It is this Court's belief that by not expressly including non-citizens in the New York State Constitution, it was the intent of the framers for non-citizens to be omitted."

"Based upon the foregoing analysis, the Court finds that the Municipal Voting Law explicitly violates the New York State Constitution, as only 'citizens' may vote in elections," the judge ruled.

Last December, the New York City Council passed a law extending the right to vote in local elections to noncitizen immigrants who live, work, and pay taxes in New York City. Democratic state officials and immigration activists celebrated the law, which was expected to enfranchise more than 800,000 new voters beginning in 2023.

But the Republican National Committee and state GOP officials challenged the law on the grounds that it violated the state's constitution, as well as state election law and New York's Municipal Home Rule Law.

Rorzio's opinion agreed with the RNC's claims and declared the noncitizen voting law null and void.

"The Municipal Voting Law is 'impermissible simply and solely for the reason that the Constitution says that it cannot be done,'" Rorzio wrote.

"The New York State Constitution expressly states that citizens meeting the age and residency requirements are entitled to register and vote in elections. The New York State Election Law reaffirms that citizens meeting the age and residency requirements are entitled to register and vote in elections. There is no statutory ability for the City of New York to issue inconsistent laws permitting non-citizens to vote and exceed the authority granted to it by the New York State Constitution."

The decision was welcomed by Republican Party of New York chairman Nick Langworthy.

"This is another victory for citizen rights, election integrity, and the rule of law. The judge affirmed that this brazen attempt to give voting rights to non-citizens is in direct violation of the law and a common-sense reading of the Constitution," Langworthy said in a statement.

¤ ¤ ¤ HOW TO STAY SAFE AT NIGHT DURING A COMMUNIST REVOLUTION ¤ ¤ ¤

I've been thinking writing about this issue recently. This is something I got prepared for a while back ago, a decade maybe longer. I really got this down well and would like to share what I know. I assume most hardcore preppers already do the same, so this is NOT for you guys because you are already aware of what I will have to say.

Communist revolutions are dangerous and violent, they are empowered by systemic corruption, insolvency, greed and moral decay. The middle class and lower class are always the ones culled in a communist revolution, never the uber rich as they are well protected and have offshore safe havens and get-aways. It tends to be the rich who fund communist revolutions anyway as a means to cull the population. It is always the struggling lower and middle classes that get robbed and killed in communist revolutions. ALWAYS.

Now that this FACT is settled lets talk about one of their many hostile tactics to rob, rape and/or kill you. Communists have many radical tactics. They can blow up a levee or dam to flood out communities they cannot loot or control. They'll also use arson to subjugate their victims too. Sometimes they'll disrupt transportation, much like Antifa derails Amtrack trains and cargo shipments across the midwest! Very common tactics. Another thing communists will do is use a hijacked corrupted government to target families, often at night or early in the morning when people are sound asleep. Or sometimes they'll use mobs to do that too. Depends on the situations at hand. Gun grabs and gulag kidnappings go hand-in-hand during communist revolutions. They know very well the most vulnerable point in time for their victims is when they are sleeping! This is one area in which I have prepped pretty well for!

I have some mitigation tactics for those who plan this for me, and I'll be happy to share these tips with all of you:

(1) First off get used to sleeping in clothing, next to some boots by the side of your bed, cargo pants and a flannel shirt are great and comfy enough to sleep in. (2) You'll want to have a loaded handgun next to your bed, maybe on the nightstand, or you can sleep with it locked on safety mode. (3) You want something that is battery operated by the side of your bed or mounted to the wall next to you which will allow you to see in the dark. It could be night vision goggles, it could be a handheld portable LED light, it could be a small lamp hooked up to a 12V-powered 200 watt inverter. Maybe a heavy duty flashlight. Whatever it is, make sure you can see good in the dark, and make sure you can use it off-grid!! Have it handy and practice with it in the dark till you can utilize it within 5 seconds when need be. (4) Hardcore entry point fortification and some kind of alarm system that will alert you during a breach at night. When I talk about "entry point fortification" what I mean is having katy bars, floor locks, multiple dead bolts (with long strike plates + 3" stainless steel screws) to reinforce your exterior doors. If you have any patio glass door you need to knock it out and replace it by building an extended wall over it. Windows should also be covered or barred up from the inside, you can easily use wood bits to drill holes through the 2x4s around the frames of the windows and use stainless steel bolts with washers and nuts to mount thick plywood and/or warehouse shelving beams against the windows. Just make sure you get the measurements down correctly and have them leveled.

Basic review:

1) Well clothed, ready to hop out of bed and get into defensive mode.

2) Have a firearm handy next to where you sleep, with extra ammo nearby too.

3) Some kind of battery operated lighting or night vision goggles.

4) Some kind of alarm system for the hardened entry points encase they are breached.
