Now on the note of what OP said. You have to base your interaction with police based upon their intentions. If cops are questioning you on something credible. It’s best to cover your ass and talk to them. Good example is when my brother was stalking this guy for talking to his ex.(My bro is a nut case). He repeatedly avoided them and the last time they contacted him they said they would press charges if he didn’t make contact. I told him to talk to them (over the phone) but to deny being at the scene. Once they couldn’t pin it on him they gave up. Where had he not called he might have had charges pressed. Yes he would have beat it but he saved time and money by talking. Now if it’s something to impede on your rights like speech, guns ect. You avoid them and don’t even answer the door. If they threaten a warrant come in but with a lawyer. If they have any brains they will give up. If not your lawyer gets to talk for you. Never admit to shit. They’re not going to waste their time with you in here unless you appear to be a real threat. Saying “I plan to kill all Jews” is not enuff. But saying “I plan to kill all Jews at this location, at this time using this weapon”. You will be in for a bad time.

This happens in family court every day.
However in 1791 it would have been easy to sue a man who touched your property without consent and the supreme court has ruled that ALL of the causes of action that existed at common law in 1791 still exist.
The key thing to understand here is that you do not sue the government or "government officials", you FILE A CLAIM against the MAN who acts as a government official. So you don't call the "police officer" who break into your home and conduct a no knock raid a police officer, you call him by his real name and sue "bob jones" for trespass, which is a cause of action that existed at common law in 1791.
Whoever touches your gun, you don't call it a gun and you don't call him a police officer, you call it property and you call him by his real name and you make a very simple lawsuit that says something to the effect of "the man bob jones administrates my property without right. i, a man require the immediate restoration of property and compensation in the amount of $1000 per day for every day that said property continues to be administered without consent". Then get two other witnesses (WITH FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE) to go into court and swear to the same facts as you and then your allegations will be on the record.
