Before 8chan was destoyed there were frequent threads about a Maryland militia group run by some guy kicked out of a church who then took half the congregation with him and started his own group who had then taken over some town and their local newspaper. I was desperately trying to join them and even talking about it in IRL and got in trouble with police because of it and now I never hear about them again. Did they ever exist at all? Are they out there? Were they shutdown while 8chan was shutdown? Is there really an all-white Christian town somewhere in Maryland with /pol/ ideals?

I remember that but I'm almost certain those threads were just a LARP. The guy was claiming they had the mayoral election stacked and would make a public announcement but nothing ever came of it. How the hell did you get in trouble with the police?
