What footwear, preferably trainers, do you fags wear to drive in?

I've heard that Vans and Janoskis are pretty good to drive in as they have solid soles but what are some others?

>implying I change shoes to drive

Except when I'm in beach shoes, I drive with anything I wear. As a white collar, it's mostly strong leather or suede shoes and it goes ok.

When I do have flip flops or anything not suited for driving, I drive barefoot and it's fun.

I drive in anything i have my feet in. Except one pair of running boots, which rub the back of my heel pretty bad when driving longer than 20 minutes. Then i drop the right one and brake/throttle with socks.

Not a fan of flipflops or anything that falls off feet randomly, so never even tried driving with those.

My favorite driving shoes right now are actually my low-top work boots. Other than that, I try to avoid flip flops, since I can't heel-toe when I wear them.

Have fun getting glass and shit in your feet if you get in a wreck and need to bail.

<not in my face/eyes/hands, you know, parts that always are exposed and are even more a pain in the ass to cure

Following your logic I'd drive in a bathyscaphe.

I usually drive in a pair of running shoes or sneakers, however you want to call them. Sometimes I drive in boots, but not too often due to the fact that they often get uncomfortable after a long time driving, also they are hard to take off if I feel like not wearing any shoes. I did use Vans for a while but the arch of my foot is very high so I had to stop wearing them otherwise my feet would start getting fucked up.

>Drive barefoot

>get in a crash

>side windows explode and cover the ground in broken glass

>Have to get out to exchange insurance information

>or worse, there's a fire and you need to get out quick

>your feet when

>Have to deal with extra hospital visits and a potential infection

Did I explain the problem with driving barefoot in a way that even you could follow, or do you need further explanations?

>Car is on fire too (somehow)

>And i still belive after a hard enough crash to break side windows i will still be able to walk at all

I get that you are implying "driving barefoot is bad", but we might not be on the same page when it comes to examples.

How fucking old your car has to be to have windows that can shatter? When i tipped my 1988 Audi the side windows did not even crack, and when i tried to shatter one just for science it was all like glued to some plastic between 2 sheets of glass

>How fucking old your car has to be to have windows that can shatter?

See embed. Your side windows are made of tempered glass, which explodes into a million tiny pieces when it breaks. It's safer than having huge shards of glass flying around, but it will still fuck up your feet.

Fires after crashes are also still very possible, although nowadays it takes a long time for the flames to breach the firewall.

A pair of Sperry's were the best driving shoes I ever used. Uncomfortable as hell to actually walk in since they were sockless moccasins and had no support, but it made my footwork noticeably better, and after about 10 minutes in the driver's seat I forgot I was wearing them. Only used them for a day, so I returned them about a week later and went back to my beat to hell NBs.

It's the injury then. But feel free to elaborate in your pedaling habits. When starting i use my whole leg, then rest my heel on the floor and use clutch only with the front part fo my feet. And when not intending to shift, i lay it flat on the floor, not on the sloped part next to pedals where it's supposed to go.

Should I stick with a soft hardtop Suzuki I have but its going to have a 1.6 sidekick engine, ~95hp? or go buy a right had drive, better body, less mileage original JDM import with 50~ horsepower? I don't get it cause one site says the samurai with the 1.3 normal engine has 60hp while the 1.3 turbo Japanese import has 50hp?

The pros of the "project" I have are listed…

>1.6 sidekick HP, good popular engine, more HP and still good MPG

>Parts are USA and its reliable

>I have all the parts I can take to a mechanic so they can install it

>Car needs to be painted, the body is in okay condition. Allows for removal of the hard-soft top so I can make it open body.

>I'll get to choose the new color I want, OD green or maybe Coyote brown

Cons..

<Will probably cost more with the paint job.

<The body is in okayish condition

<Nothing will be done since it was my dads project but since he hasnt touched it for 10+ years, he clearly wont finish it in the next year.

<Cost more just to get it running and ready.

The pros for the JDM I saw on craigslist…

>The body is in good-great condition

>60k miles on it

>1.3 Turbo so it should be better than a stock and probably gets better mileage

>Already in working condition and can start on the upgrades such as a lift, tires etc.

>JDM right had drive

>Real hard top and looks a lot better than what hardtop removable one I have.

Cons..

<Dont know if the seller still has it but its likely…

<Seller is asking for $5200

<I dont have the cash on hand so the seller might not have it by the end of the year when I could potentially have the money.

<parts might be harder to come by but unlikely since its a 87' model.

<1.3 turbo is probably weaker than the 1.6

<Fixing up the current one will be the same price if not less (putting in engine and paint) as $5200-$4000

Dont know what to decide but I cant really decide anything until I hear back from a job I applied for. Worst case is the car was sold but I still have a good option to go to. I plan on selling an 89 jeep wrangler because I hate it anyways and I probably could get $5000 out of it. But for a best-case scenario is getting the JDM and paying less than $4000 for it. I think the JDM has less rust and the body style is better, plust the right hand drive is very neat. But performance wise the 1.6 might be better. What do you guys think? Some other answered question is yes, I want to get rid of the jeep, and yes I can take that project from my dad once I have the money to get it done.

Converse is owned by Nike, and Vans has had long term, core establishment in performance arts/extreme sports and DIY scenes in gen from that, hence the big hipster frenzy now. I don't like any of these three brands, but what kind of a retarded post was this?
