Not as in having a bad performance because of a sore throat etc. but rather catastrophic errors of creative judgement

Vid related, what the fuck was Bowie thinking with this version…

This whole album was a catastrophe, but letting Cook and Clifford do vocals was easily the worst thing about it.

I love RDJ, but even as a huge fan I won't defend whatever the fuck this was meant to be.

I like it, but you can tell this is the precise point that Pink Floyd hit a creative stopgap. If you've heard The Wall and/or The Final Cut, then you've heard this album. It shares so many chord progressions, lyrics and intonations that it's practically an alternate cut of the two, and it's something you'd see later on Amused to Death where he blatantly ripped off Shine On. Only remotely unique song on it is Sexual Revolution, and that song was this close to being on The Wall anyway.

Plus Waters was really salty with Gilmour at the time and deliberately sabotaged the album's success by disassociating it with PF as much as possible.

Pure cringe

i think celtic frost in general is pure cringe if only it wasn't for their pioneering role in extreme metal.

Same case with Swansong by Carcass. I think the only death n roll album worth a damn is Yeah by Xysma

Cold Lake is possibly my favorite release from Celtic Frost, but that's meaningless since I don't even care about any of the albums I've heard from them. I really never got what the big deal was with them other than being the first to do some of the things they did.

what the fuck were John and Chuck (hey, it rhymes) thinking with this version?

This is usually regarded as the textbook example of that.

I kind of like it though.

I don't really think this counts at all. Lou Reed achieved his goal and more with this album.

God, Yoko isn't even the worst thing wrong here, Chuck and John's voices do not work together in the slightest and they aren't even remotely in sync.

Either Maiden hiring Blaze Bailey in the mid 90s, or every album they've made after Brave New World.

RDJ started to believe the hype himself and he tried this "high culture" projects and failed. Now he is milking his fans with all kinds of leftover materials which they pay premium price for. Still love him tho, but I'm not going to buy all that shit he is releasing the last 10 years or even listen to it. (His last EP was solid old school Aphex Twin, but still the same old shit.)

whatever pieces of shit followed Black Sabbath after Born Again.

Fuckin A by Anal Cunt was catastrophically bad besides being a bit of ironic comedy.

replacing Scott Reagers, even though I heard the Wino stuff first, man what were they thinking?

that one techno-industrial album put out by Morbid Hasbeens. if it would've resembled vid related it would've been more enjoyable

>Fuckin A by Anal Cunt was catastrophically bad besides being a bit of ironic comedy.

Wrong. The only real problems are the vocals and lack of bass. It's got great riffs and the primal balls-to-the-wall feeling that a good punk or metal release should have and that is sorely lacking nowadays in the latter category.

Einar fucking Orn was the biggest blight on Björk's early career and I think it no coincidence that she went big as soon as he was out of the picture. I remember first digging into her past projects after becoming completely enamored by her later works. K.U.K.L immediately piqued my interest for being in the "post-punk" genre, which was a far cry from her contemporary style. I had thoroughly enjoyed some of the harder tracks off of Post such as Army of Me and Enjoy, so I went into their sole album, The Eye with a lot of optimism. The introduction instantly grabbed me with its aggressive sound, and Björk's screams only raised my excitement even further for what I believed would be a wild and sexy album where she would let out all of the chaotic emotions of her youth. I could not have been more disappointed with what I got. Just give this a listen if you want to find out some of my anguish.
