Coldplay was one of the first bands I liked outside of what my dad would play, so I have kind of an emotional connection to the first three albums by them. I really haven't cared to look into any of their stuff past X&Y, and lately I've come to think that Chris Martin is probably the weakest (and kind of annoying at times) one of the group musically, but whenever I play their early stuff it takes me back.

I was never a Coldplay fag but my bro was, and I thought they were good. Much like the other anon's song they're emotionally in sync with how the feelings I attach to childhood memories, so it does it pretty hard.

Also any song that was featured prominently in an early to mid seasons Scrubs episode instantly gives me the ability to cry at will.
