Yeah, really needs to be remastered. The songs are strong, they just sound like shit. Plus Lars was way out of his comfort zone and his drummings a mess, really could do with, not a remaster, a reperformance

Let's be honest: the only reason people hate this album is because this album was made during the time Metallica shut down Napster. Every song of this album gives me a "we shut down Napster and got brain damage" vibe.

The album was just mediocre, but them shutting down napster and making that movie where they cry and bitch at each other for two hours really made people hate this one. And the fucking snare drum sounds like a guy beating on a sewer pipe with a wrench.
