I'm kind of bleh on the whole 'muh feminism and baginas' but whatever, I'm satisfied enough she didn't stoop to making an overtly 'muh trump' song
But otherwise the music is kind of weak, it's definitely pleasant sounding but not catchy, all the songs kind of have the same feeling. The composition on a lot of the instruments are very good, but her vocals lack variety. I'm sure she just can't quite do the whipping, growling vocals she used to. The album has a pleasant, somber tone and has nice soundscapes but I'm disappointed by the vocal comp and little amounts of percussion. But it's clear the album isn't aiming for the type of bjork I want, it does what it's aiming too pretty well I think.
