Haven't been to a /mu/ board on any chan in a long time so I was wondering if Foobar is still the go-to option.
also media players general I guess

Linux people: what do you guys use? I've been using Clementine.
No.83805
haven't needed a media player ever since I got a Spotify account five years ago
No.83816
Foobar is still my favourite, though I'm now trying out Clementine since getting a new computer, because FOSS.
It's alright, but it's pretty ugly and basically no customization to fix that. It also feels kind of slow.
yes I'm on windows, gas me

You can change the colours in Clementine pretty easily in Tools > Preferences > Appearance, and there's a bunch of other stuff you can do, but there definitely aren't Foobar levels of customization.

Quod Libet.
It came preinstalled with XFCE.
I never see this mentioned on chans, while it is a very good substitute for foobar on linux imo.

No, that's you being fucking lazy because you are computer illiterate and are the worst type of music listener, the type of cancer that only cares about songs.

>wasting money just to stream for one song when entire albums are free in far better quality that compressed stream format
It really can't be stressed that you aren't from here and that you need to go back to >>>/reddit/ and be lynched for being a cancerous normalfag that parts with legal tender that barely supports artists to begin with.

I guarantee if I gave you a blind hearing test, you could not tell the difference between flac and mp3 at 320kbs. The advantage to flac is archiving, not sound quality. Quit being an elitist cunt.

Also a MusicBee user. First I left Winamp because it was constantly losing information and becoming more and more sluggish. Then it was Zune getting fucked by Microsoft. Last one was foobar. which was losing information like winamp and not recognizing album artwork half of the time. Maybe I was retarded (it was 6 years ago and earlier), since people used to swear by Winamp and still do by Foobar but I had problems with both.
