Great Britain fell apart with most of it territories splitting off (both white and non white wanted to gtfo), and may continue to do so. It is also something that someone can write about without much effort : "my ideals are righteous and the enemy is evil or fools" and just do a easy insertion of that into a story/premise . It of course if it is to blatant enough or poorly written to get a huge negative reaction.

For example if I where to do write a story about the order wanting to wipe out monster that is fine, little to no reaction, but if I were to change the order to nazi or something that virtually similar to a nazi than that creates a reaction of not only drawing the reader out of the story in normal circumstances (why are their nazis out of nowhere?) but get a reaction towards /pol/ users (the writer is a commie nigger!). One can somewhat fix this if you make the nazi order a well multi dimensional group/character but if you really like them or look down on them, than it may be hard to do so.

It also has to do with the fact that the audience would have different perceptions about the hero/villain subject. For example antifa and by association, feminist and communist can be seen as a great scourge that is fucking up US and Europe but when one can also see them as ineffectual idiots or wimps like a soyboy or Bernie Sanders, it could make the audience have the reaction of "really?" or "they are to be a threat?"

Hey, I just posted the next thread for Monster Mania the other day! The only reason I’ve slowed down is the business of this time of year and wanting to get more votes in, so hopefully my now rule will help with that.

The reason we bear such a grudge is because we went from being one of the wealthiest places on earth at the start of the war to being impoverished by the end. And instead of helping us rebuild northerners came in and took everything we had left that wasn’t destroyed. Entire towns were bought out, we were forced to sell off 50 million acres of our virgin forest for a measly .50¢ per acre as well as our other natural resources in a desperate attempt to bring northern industry south to bring our economies back to life. When they just took our resources and didn’t create any new jobs or factories we tried to build our own industry. Any that weren’t shut down due to investors being “encouraged” to drop support had to struggle against fees designed to keep the south uncompetitive.

Shortly after the war the north raised high tariffs to protect northern industry but left southern cotton, who now had to contend with competition from Egypt and India, was left unprotected. Then the north actually added an additional tax upon cotton which cost us an estimated 70 million dollars over the course of 3 years. These conditions led to the loss of ownership of property, and the rise of tenancy and sharecropping. Before the war up to 80% of all farms were owner operated, but by 1930 this number had fallen to 37% and most of those were having to mortgage the property each year just to get by. One million white families and 700k African families were stuck in such conditions.

In Louisiana roughly 5/6 of all sugar mills were lost and as much as half of all livestock had been lost over the course of the war. The rest of the south suffered as much if not more. The state of Mississippi for example spent 20% of its 1866 revenue on buying artificial arms and legs for its veterans. The state of Georgia did not reach the same value of its pre war assets until 1911. Production of corn dropped from 33.1 bushels per capita at the start of the war to 23.4 bushels by 1880. Pigs fells from 1.92 per capita to 1.14 per capita in the same time span. And to this day the south remains the poorest and most poverty ridden region of the country.

And none of this makes mention of the social upheaval you left us with, nor the political disenfranchisement you enforced upon us. Those who had supported the confederacy(which was the majority of the south) often found themselves barred from voting or holding public office, and those who had been in office were removed and replaced by republicans friendly to the union. In addition to this the southern states were forced to write new constitutions that had to be approved by the north before they could be ratified. To ratify the new constitution only 10% of the population had to vote yes, which was rather easy to do since the other 90% couldn’t say no.

We have a lot of reasons to hold a grudge against the north.

i'm starting to feel this way a lot because i have a job that is going nowhere (and i'll probably be leaving soon to go back to my old one anyway because the one i have now is completely different than what i signed up for/what i expected), but it makes me upset because i essentially get zero calls back about job applications (whether it be a rejection or an invite for an interview, and if it's an interview than i completely fuck that up), and i dont want to be stuck in retail my entire life
