Well, if we stay realistic with the amount of envy in the hearts of humans, I'd say the first generations that will have to live with MGs will have the most trouble, while those that will follow can possibly share healthy relationships.
Foreigners will always be observed with careful suspicion, no matter if you live in a huge sity or a small village.
However, as time goes on and as the families become part of the neighbourhood, as they adapt to their new life, their children will make human friends, they'll learn that there are differences and common points.
They will be envious, some will wish to be as strong as their MG friends, some MGs will wish to be as small as a human, or have cute hands or dainty feet instead of large man-grabbers or long tails.
But they will also like to play with them.
They will be angry at the stupid and mean boys, then they'll find nice boys who want to play with them and they'll find games all of them can enjoy.
One day they'll be almost grown up.
Puberty will be awkward and scary and angry.
There will be worse fights, there will be little and big rebellions.
One day, they'll both think about the same boy, who is still nice, but perhaps not as smart.
And there will be embarassing curiosities, very weird discoveries and eventually understandings.
Paths will diverge, new friends will appear and go and one day, they'll be adults, with very different problems and pleasures, but at times, they'll think about one another, sometimes angrily, sometimes happily.
There will be more jealousies, and more anger, but there will also be great long-lasting relationships.
There will be children, and they will grow up alongside MG children and history will repeat, while others grow old and try their best for their children and grandchildren.
Sometimes, old men and women will gather, for happy and sad occasions, and they will talk about their children and the things they did at their age.
And history will contine and repeat itself.
