Don't get me wrong, it's good fun fighting the monsters of old, but the way they falsely advertised it was really shitty. Glad they learned from their mistakes with the new one. I know there was controversy about the scenes, especially since they made the game popular with the enemy, but:

A) It drove home what would happen should the Order fail (or should an initiate not train hard enough, an important lesson).

B) Any profit from sales of the game to the enemy were donated to the Order. Rather clever, getting them to fund their own destruction.

Yes, this is actually a thing. Someone made a monstergirl version of the GnG games. If anyone cares, I could type up a mini-review with UNSOLICITED COMMENTARY. tl;dr version, if you like tough retro games, give it a try.

Someone took the time to translate it too, which is pretty cool. I remember playing through it in Japanese and having a lot of difficulty with some of the puzzles. It's a pretty tedious game though, so I'm a bit reluctant to replay it. There's not a single non-vanilla MG in the whole game either. The zombie is just a normal girl with bandages on.

I don't know much about it, but Mutiny looks interesting enough.

And of course, CoC is good for those that don't mind some of the more extreme stuff.

In terms of gameplay, I'd give that to the Shantae series as a whole for playing as a monster girl and having a lot of qt monster girl enemies.

In terms of setting, vibe, and overall visuals, I really like Skullgirls despite the fact my favorite character is not a monster girl at all.

What I'd like to see are hilarious mods for other games where you play as a monster girl or even "fight" monster girls and you let them "rape" you like in that monster girl Doom mod.

I'm not one to judge anon's for their taste, but that game is like funny for five minutes. Especially if you have a laptop with a touchscreen, but then it gets weird or boring.
