Why is it that Sociology-oriented critics seem to rate comedy so far below politics and ideology that they would rather kill a television show than modify their presumptions concerning a given reality which it seeks in its own terms to project? Finally, why is it that so many of those who would tell us the meaning of our life never bother to learn how varied it really is?

I think it must be because comedy is charisma for the sake of charisma, and not for political gain. Sociologists aren't funny so they probably don't see the variation in life>>24624
