I first got into Sam about 3 years ago. He was one of the first high strength red pills I found, and he helped get me started tackling issues like race realism and the JQ; ended up pushing me in the direction of white nationalism. I'm a fan of his VFX. Even though postmodernism is generally shitty, he is charismatic and can still be really funny, and his production style in general is great for connecting with younger audiences. That said Sam reached a point where the content stream dried up, and what he was putting out was meandering nonsense where he seemed to take pleasure in the fact that he was wasting your time. I got bored and eventually stopped seeking him out.
Owen on the other hand is much more upfront about who he is and what he's about than Sam is. He has actual stand up chops, he is an excellent joke writter, and he releases tons of new content on a regular basis for free. He also seems to have his life together much better than Sam, and I think he is a better influence to younger people. People try to shit on Owen, but when someone sits down in front of a camera and says whatever comes to the top of their head stream of consciousness style every night for months, you get a pretty good idea of who they are and what they're all about. Owen is a good dude. He's genuinely pursing truth, and if he realizes he was wrong about something he will address it (((Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Alex Jones))).
If Sam and Owen did a collab together it would be fucking awesome, but the way that Owen has described it Sam doesn't plan things in advance well.
Where things stand now, I'm more into Owen's streams than Sam's content just because he's more upfront, has better vibes, and works on a more reliable schedule, but I will always have some respect for Sam and I hope that in the future things might change for the better for him.
