Charls chose to make lifestyle stuff his stream's core. The movies, the rants, the chat and (once in a blue moon) the games are used as a backdrop for it. That's fine. Now, as you said, people change. That's also fine, on its own. Together, though, those things make for a very disorienting experience unless you're a regular. I only sit down and really pay attention to his show once every month or two and more often than not, most of my points of reference are gone. The continuity and inside information turnover is extremely fast. This is probably what the other poster was complaining about. I'm thinking we're just not the target audience.
Also, you could afford to tone down the fronting quite a bit. It's an anonymous avenue so you don't need to talk like a character from a Sonic fanfic. Nothin' personnel, kid.
