Hello /mai/,

I don't think i've ever posted here, I was thinking of something the other day that i'd like to run past everyone here. I don't exactly have a waifu but I do have a romantic relationship with someone who doesn't exist in this world. At the suggestion of making a video game featuring her and her world, I was met with some strange realizations on what that would possibly entail.

So, here's the scenario.

Imagine your waifu stars in a newly released video game, a real-time 3-D adventure game, where-in the player directly controls her movements.

Would you consider your commands to the game as suggestions for her?

Do you think you would co-operate well together in these circumstances?

In what ways does she communicate with you while playing?

Would you even be willing to play the game under these conditions?

With her being "inside the game" Is the experience any more or less real for her than it is for you?

If your waifu already has video games, what do you think of them?

SFV is an abysmal pile of Jewish lies. That said, I still come back to it occasionally but only because of Juri. If she wasnt in it, I would've probably never bought it. As far as actually playing her in game, she's the only character thats any fun to me, which is more of a testament to how bad SFV is than anything because she's woefully gimped in terms of playstyle as compared to other iterations.

She was first introduced in Super SFIV, and honestly I wasnt a fan of SFIV at all. It felt slow and tedious. Similarly to SFV, Juri was the only reason I kept coming back. Only difference being that she was actually a decent character in terms of meta, which doesnt matter to me in the slightest as far as she's concerned.

SFxT was easily my favorite iteration of her, despite the game having a launch similar to SFV. The game eventually did get fixed but not before it all but died because of Capcom being shady, but Juri was an absolute joy to play in that game. I miss it tbqh

Both the Original Metroid and Metroid 2 aged like milk that was left in the fridge for 5 year and I only recommend that you play the remakes first & only play the originals once if your curious enough to play them.

Super Metroid is a masterpiece of 16bit gaming and it still holds up to this day with a boatload of romhacks like Hyper Metroid.

Metroid Fusion is pretty good but a bit on the linear side.

Metroid Zero Mission is really great and the best game to start with if you want to get into the Metroid games.

The Metroid Prime trilogy are some of the best FPS adventure games. The first two Metroid Prime games were both excellent and Metroid Prime 3 ,while fun, focus way to much on the shooting than the exploration that the Metroid games are known for. Now I'm not saying that Metroid Prime 3 is bad or anything like that, I'm just saying that there wasn't a whole lot of exploration in the game compared to the first two Prime games.

Metriod Prime Hunters was OK at best.

Metroid Other Mediocrity has good ideas that was executed extremely badly thanks to the Hideo Kojima/Yoko Taro wannabe known as Yoshio Sakamoto by turning it into a bad fanfic of the Metroid Manga. Proceed with caution if you want to play OM.

Another Metroid 2 Remake aka AM2R is fantastic and the definitive way to play Metroid 2.

I haven't play that 3DS Fed Farce game nor will I ever play it.

The Smash Bros games are fun and Zero Suit Samus in Smash 4 is perfection in every way.

And for the future of Metroid; I'm hoping that both Samus Returns & Metroid Prime 4 turn out to be good and for more quality Metroid games to come out.

Touhou is a good franchise, its really special for me, it has an special charm to it mostly because of the soundtrack and lore. Everything is made by a drunk japanese called Zun.

I played every main windows game and of course im main Reimu, she is more easier to use and i love her dialogues. Its been awhile since the last time i played a touhou though, i should play it more often.

Only a few days to Touhou 16

Good question for me to answer, actually. My first play through of ME2 I took Thane on almost every mission I think, I couldn't bring myself not to. As Shepard I always felt like I was fighting alongside my waifu it felt unusually great.

>Would you consider your commands to the game as suggestions for her?

That is precisely how I thought of it.

>Do you think you would co-operate well together in these circumstances?

Absolutely, we knew we had to do all we could to save the Galaxy. Which necessitated working as an effective team and being able to cooperate.

>In what ways does she communicate with you while playing?

Through in-game prompts and dialogue etc..

>Would you even be willing to play the game under these conditions?

I did!

>With her being "inside the game" Is the experience any more or less real for her than it is for you?

I got immersed in the second game more than any other game I ever played, and his was a character that came to life to me especially. I don't really know what else to add tbh.

>If your waifu already has video games, what do you think of them?

It is my favourite series just don't ask me about the last one or you may get an ear full.
