I have been around many ideologies in the past. I've seen many discussions between natsocs, fascist, commies and traditionalist and not once did I ever get a satisfying answer to the economic question. One of the main reasons I am drawn to libertarianism is because you guys seem to be the most consistent in regards to economics and discuss it frequently where as other ideologies seem to think that the economy works like magic and simply having the right government would instantly mean a prosperous economy. Why is it that so many of these people are so willing to disregard the idea of the free market and think that capitalism as an idea is a failure?

It's for the same reason people think communism is a failure: legitimate examples are rare and far between, while the labels have been adopted by their polar opposites. The same way that communism has come to mean oppressive government control and endless bread lines, capitalism has come to mean ending consumer protections while increasing taxes to pay off trillion dollar checks handed out to mismanaged corporations.

I agree completely.

For neetsocs it's like seeing a bunch of guys talk about making the best game ever, but none of them know how to draw, code, model, or anything at all and they think it will work out simply because THEY will be doing it and they won't have any niggers on their team.

Is there a single fascist book about economics out there? Is there a single fascist book which isn't just feels-over-reals philosophy? Everything they write about the subject in passing is just so vague.

> Why is it that so many of these people are so willing to disregard the idea of the free market and think that capitalism as an idea is a failure?

1) The psychological need for a parent figure (read: government) in their lives, granting them limited liability for their actions and dictating "rules" for how they must live (see the massive amount of "laws" and regulations, plus administrative agencies.

2) Propaganda from schools, MSM, and Hollywood. Related, the unwillingness or inability to research or think things through from anything approaching first principles or with the recognition that unintended consequences come alongside every intervention.

3) Laziness and greed for other peoples money.

Economic cluelessness

Most people are mildly authoritarian, they do not just wish to leave you alone. It's natural, even if not wise, for people to try to remove or influence things they fear or do not like, no matter how much impact they do on them.

There's a reason moralfags, for example, are so crazy about their morals - they treat the resistance as a personal attack directed to them, so they try to force you to at least act the way so you do not scare them or cause the discomfort, especially when they have no means to enforce the actual rules.

Democracy is so popular because it exploits and feeds on these feelings, which are never in short supply when people's opinions are left as they are and protected, without chance of competing, and i'm not talking about eugenics here.

The lefitst class struggle is also about that, as it assumes that people are competing for power withing political parties as part of the state, and in that system it is true, as peoples' interests do interfere there, what it misses is that people often operate without the state and not as parts of shifting and all consuming state body fighting within itself for influence, as all individuals have generally common interests, no matter their wealth.

Envy and avarice disguised in the trappings of righteousness. Kickbacks, gibs, and favoritism are tempting to anyone, and they'll gladly follow any idea that promises free shit for themselves and their buddies, even if there's no way you can get it to work int the long run.

There's some written on Hamiltonian economics, and while most fascists will REEEEEE and deny if you try to bring it up, much of what Mussolini and his advisors called for economics-wise was pioneered by Hamilton.

And later on inspired Keynes.

I even agree, but that shit was still hilarious to read.
