If I didn't want others to know about my system, I wouldn't be passing around reading lists as much and giving regular suggestions on what to read to others. I can absolutely make a constructive case for my views, and I regularly do. Doesn't mean I can't also tell people that their own views are shit. There's no conflict at all between these two endeavors, making a case for yourself and defeating the case of others. I'm quite surprised, in fact, that you'd say there was one.
