These are nice if you're new to the whole shebang, but after you've been to one, if you're not in academia, you've been to them all in my honest opinion. I did the Challenge of Liberty version of this through the Independent Institute a few years back. It's nice, but honestly a waste of time and money if you aren't an academic or going into politics as a career.

These guys are more practical to be honest if you want to get into some libertarian shit that's borderline-agorist. Tuition is I think $11,000 for the year (it's a 9 month program), they do it by application to ensure that only people they think they can help get in, and after your first three months of intensive training they stick you at a partner business at $14/hour with a near-guarantee to get raised to minimum $40k/year salary upon finishing the program if you didn't fuck up horribly. Had some friends do it. They have a 97% success rate if I recall correctly.

Their main focus is on teaching people how to market themselves and teaching them entrepreneurial skills that you can use for the rest of your life. I know one guy who did the program and became the vice president of a multimillion company at age 23, and I know another guy who did it and turned into a druggy burnout after working at his business he was assigned to for about four months after the program said burnout is still better off than most burnouts since he has side gigs and online fronts he uses to bring in a modicum of income due to his training, but he's still one bad month away from couch surfing, and the lack of a degree is hurting him in finding other professional jobs.
If you don't really have problems with that marketing/entrepreneurial end, it might just be a waste of time other than maybe the access to their private social media network of Praxis students and alumni. If you can pass the "live out of a car for a month" test that is, you want something badly enough you're willing to live out of your car for a month to get it or if you're lacking experience in those things, it could prove useful. I considered it, but they're more focused on the soft skills and I don't really need more soft skills for technician work. Just note that the more narrow of a field/job title you're looking for, the harder of a time the program will have for placing you somewhere decent.

Well, this is a bit late but I very much enjoyed myself. Lectures were informative, got to ask the faculty some questions, but the real gem here is the other students. It's really a refreshing experience to spend a week secure in the knowledge that you can speak on equal terms with just about anyone you meet, and the closest anyone gets to being a lefty is a few night-watchmen minarchists. If you can find time to go, I would highly recommend attending next year's session.

I got one, and I believe everyone I talked to got one as well, so I have to assume anyone that's read a few books on Austrian econ is pretty likely to get one.
