It's fun to meme about engineering a waifu, and certainly in ancap without all those pesky restrictions it would be easy to make one, but what about the ethical implications? Since ownership of a sapient creature violates their NAP, how do you plan to get around this? The only things I can think are

1) Making them not actually sapient which isnt so fun

2) Not actually owning them and having to engineer them and then woo them which sounds like trouble

Strictly speaking, ownership of a sapient creature is impossible, because sapient creatures own themselves. Pretending to own them, as in slavery, is violating their right of self-ownership, however. The NAP is always accessory to some right, and in this case, it's the right of self-ownership that it's accessory to.

You make them sapient enough to understand basic things on the level of an elementary schooler, provide basic care for them in their early adolescent years, and constantly convince them that they were meant to be by your side/maybe guilt them a little bit.
